    I don''t know why I still care about Alex so much, he kept insulting me, but I still care about him.


    I feel like it is a good thing that he insulted me again, I would look like a total pushover if he didn''t, I was


    about to do what I did six years ago, thank God it didn''t happen.


    The manager sent me a text that I have two days off, I know it was Alex''s doing but then I refuse to


    even think about it, why would he say wicked things to me and still be nice to me.


    I drove to my mum''s ce but the twins has gone to school, I ate something from the kitchen and I


    went to my former bedroom to sleep.


    I was fast asleep when Sam called, I didn''t want to pick, I wanted to go back to sleep but then I knew


    that would be rude so I picked.


    "Hello, Sam."


    "Tracy, I went to thepany today and I was told you have the day off."


    "Yes."


    "Good, let''s go out and have fun then."


    "No, it''s fine thank you."


    "Come on, please Tracy, I''d love to go out and have fun with you." He pleaded, I was reluctant but I


    eventually agreed


    I told him to pick me up from my ce in 2 hours.


    I bid my parents farewell after begging them to help me pick the twin and then I drove home, I


    showered and threw on ck trousers, a white top, and ck sandals.


    Sam picked me up and he took me to a zoo, I was not expecting him to take me to a zoo at all, an


    amusement park maybe but not a zoo.


    "Are you surprised?"


    "Of course I am, why did you bring me to a zoo, I mean, it''s not like I don''t like it but then why the zoo?"


    "I didn''t want to do the norm, another guy would take you to the amusement park or the mall but then I


    want to do something different, we can go to the mallter, if there is time we would go to the


    amusement park."


    "Oh but you don''t have to worry, this is just fine."


    "You might never let me take you out again so why not, now tell me which cage do you want to visit


    first."

    He said fun and we had fun, the peacocks and other types of birds were looking amazing, Sam had a


    story to tell about each animal, they were funny and made up, Iughed to my heart content, he made


    it fun, too bad we can''t have a thing together.


    He took me to the sprinklers where we had ice cream, he had strawberry ice cream and I had


    chocte ice cream with chocte toppings, It felt really weird that he was taking strawberry that I


    couldn''t resist asking.


    "Why Strawberry?"


    "Nothing, I like strawberries." He replied avoiding my eyes


    "Why do I feel like there is more to it? Or if is something I''m not supposed to know?."


    "Of course, you''d know it, soon, but not now." He said shing me one of his charming smiles.


    We finished our ice cream and he insisted on taking me to the mall but I refused, telling him he has


    done enough, I bought ice cream for kids before we left the sprinklers.


    He took me to my parent''s and he waited until I picked my kids then he took us home, I thanked him


    and I took my children inside.


    We were ying Scrabble and I noticed Micheal and Michelle staring at each other, they kept


    exchanging nces and I was sure they were conspiring.


    "Say it," I said and they both exchanged nces again


    "Say it already." I requested getting scared already


    "You won''t get mad at us?" Michael asked


    "My God, what did you guys do again?."


    "We didn''t do anything, we want to ask you a question," Michelle replied, they are just five and they talk


    like ten-year-olds already.


    "Ask me, I won''t get mad."


    "Where is daddy?." They both asked and goosebumps came out immediately, the weather was not


    exactly hot but I started sweating, my children have never asked of their father but today they asked


    and I am tongue-tied.


    "Why?" I managed to ask


    "Today is Friday and we doposition on Fridays, we were told to answer questions about our father


    but we got zero because we couldn''t answer any of the questions, then Philip said our got married to


    another woman," Michelle exined the apple doesn''t fall far from the tree, as they say, Philip is Mrs.

    "So where is daddy?" Micheal asked again.


    "Come here my lovelies," I called and they both sat on my legs, I took a deep breath gathering my


    thoughts before I told them anything


    "Your dad is fine, very fine, but then he has been very busy that''s why you''ve not been seeing him."


    "Does that mean Daddy doesn''t love us?"


    "Of course he does, he loves you both with all his heart."


    "Then why haven''t we seen him."


    "Because he''s busy."


    "We want to see daddy." They both said folding their arms


    "Of course you will, very soon." Or maybe never I added silently


    "Really?"


    "Of course, I went to visit him yesterday and he said he''d dly visit you guys." It was not a total lie


    "Really?" They asked their face brightening up


    "Of course."


    "But mummy what does wear lock mean?" Micheal asked


    "Wear what now?"


    "Mrs. Bet was saying we were born out of wear lock."


    "What?, Don''t listen to her, you were not born out of wedlock." And I''m going to tell her that on Sunday.


    "So when are you meeting daddy?." Michelle asked and my heart skipped a beat.


    "Soon baby, soon." Or never, I just hope they don''t ask again.
