    Chapter 9

Our deal was this: as long as it didn''t interrupt my fencing practices, I would be stuck like glue to Leo.

Apparently, his panic attacks could be random at times outside of the pool too. I didn''t dare ask what

happened. I was already pushing my luck just being able to stay here. On top of Leo keeping my

secret, he also promised to help me stay out of trouble. Our deal ended with me getting dressed in my

uniform early to follow Leo to his morning swim practice.

I sat on a dry bench as I watched the swim team go back and forth withps in the pool. Easton noticed

me about halfway through the practice as the second group started theirps.

"Sky? What are you doing here?" He asked confused. I had no answer for him. If I said I was just

looking, it would be weird, and it wouldn''t exin my future visits.

"Sky is my personal manager now," Leo said as he walked over dripping in pool water. I had to admit,

both boys had nice bodies. They were toned and muscr but lean with broad shoulders. Although,

Leo was taller than Easton and had more definition in his legs. I cleared my throat and looked away

from them when I realized that I had been staring.

"What? Is this your way of bullying the new kid?" Easton asked defensively. Leo scoffed as he rolled his

    eyes.

"We made a bet and he lost. Sky is my kid now, and yourps are about to start," Leo exined. I had

to admit, personal manager was a great excuse. Easton looked to me for help, but all he was met with

was my apologetic eyes. Easton sighed before walking away as Leo sat next to me. I grabbed the extra

towel beside me and handed it to him.

"I have to admit, being around all these guys in nothing but Speedos makes me slightly ufortable

when they''re just standing out of the water like that," I said for the sake of conversation. Leo sighed and

    leaned back against the wall.

"We''re redoing the rules of the room when we get back today," he changed the subject.

"I figured as much. But I guess it turned out to be a good thing that we have most of the same sses

    together," I replied.

"This is already giving me a headache," he sighed. I perked up as I checked him over carefully.

"What''s wrong? Are you unwell?" I asked, worried. He shook his head.

"We have free gym today instead of sports period. I''m not exactly sure what we''ll be doing, so just stick

    close," he warned.

"I''m done with practice so I''m going to shower and change. Meet me at the front," he said before he

walked to the locker room. I sighed and watched him disappear before I headed to the front of the

building. The sun was just starting to rise. I sat on the front steps of the building as I waited.
