* Shane’s Apartment *


    La had just finished having her bath, she joined Shane who was almost asleep on the bed. He had been waiting for La’s arrival. La was already dressed in her night robe when she joined Shane on the bed.


    Almost immediately he turned to her facing her properly. He leaned closer and ced a short kiss on her lips before pulling her to himself, wrapping his arms around her waist before covering them with the quilt.


    With this, they both drifted to sleep almost immediately.


    ** The Girl’s Apartment **


    ” Morning mom ” La muttered as she walked down the stairs, yawning heavily.


    Mrs Brown scoffed at her daughter’s pretense. ” Where did you head tost night with your boyfriend? I saw hime pick you up in another expensive car. Thought you said he was on a business trip with the CEO of yourpany and why was he with another luxurious car I’m sure not just any one could buy. That car belongs to rich people ” Mrs Brown rushed her at once that she got confused on which to answer at first.


    ” Mom.. it’s.. ” Mrs Brown strained her gaze on La the more making her suddenly short of words.


    ” Mom that’s her boss’s driver who picked her upst night ” Mirah cut her off and Mrs Brown raised her brows.  ” I don’t understand.. ”  Mrs Brown said but Mirah also didn’t know what to say anymore. She had just said that out of senses.


    The door suddenly pushed open and Brielle walked in gracefully while the two girls stared at her confusedly and in suprise.


    What was she doing at their house? And why was she in all of a sudden?


    ” You are? ” Mrs Brown asked and Brielle acted on a pretense. She pretended to be suprised.


    ” Mom.. you don’t know me? ” Brielle asked and Mrs Brown raised her brows. She was obviously cracking her brain trying to recollect if she had actually met with the unfamiliardy standing in front of her.


    ” Anyways.. I’m Brielle. Your daughter’s boss ” She offered an handshake and Mrs Brown took it immediately without hesitation.


    ” Oh hi. How are you miss? ” Mrs Brown tried her best toport herself. ” I’m very fine ma’am and I’m here to pick La up, we actually have some unfinished business fromst night. I’m sorry if it troubled or bothered you. I had actually sent my driver to pick her upst night. It was an urgent one ” She apologized and Mrs Brown nodded.


    ” Oh, I didn’t know it was you. It’s fine ” Mrs Brown said immediately and Brielle smiled lightly. ” La are you done? We should leave now ” Brielle said trying her best to sound a it’s bit authoritative.


    ” Um.. no. I haven’t had my bath ” La muttered and Brielle tried her possible best not to show how shocked she was.


    ” Oh, I guess I might have to wait then. Meet me in my car in some minutes now ” She said and La nodded immediately like a scared employee would do.


    Brielle smiled at Mrs Brown. ” I will leave now mom ” She said politely with a low bow and Mrs Brown did the same and watched as Brielle walked out of their view, only if she could see how shaky she looked while trying topose herself to walk out like that without missing her steps.


    Brielle finally stepped out of the mansion and into her car, she heaved a sigh of relief. ” Gosh, I’m d I came at the right time ” She muttered to herself.


    * Some minutester *


    La entered into the car together with Mirah. Mira got into the back seat while La sat at the front seat next to Brielle’s.


    The trio nced at each other and like nned, at once they burst intoughter.


    ” Come on.. how did youe up with that so fast? ” Mirah hailed and Brielle smiled proudly. ” I really didn’t expect it. It just came out and I didn’t expect Mrs Brown to buy it that easily ” Brielle said and La nodded in support.


    ” Yeah me too ” La supported. ” But your mom seemed nice in there and I was expecting her to chase me off after knowing I was your boss and probably one rich psycho but she didn’t ” Brielle said and La nodded.


    ” Yeah, she’s probably respecting you ’cause you’re La’s boss ” Mirah said and they nodded in support. ” We should leave then ” Brielle said. ” Where are we going to? ” La was forced to ask.


    ” To your baby’s ” Brielle replied and the girls raised their brows quizzically.


    ” You don’t have to worry Mirah, Bryan would be there too ” She said and Mirah nodded. Brielle turned to La who was still staring at her confusedly.


    ” We’re only having a get together party. My baby’s gonna be there too ” She said and their eyes widened. ” Really? ” Mirah was fast to voice out her excitement.


    ” Yeah y’all are meeting him ” Brielle replied with a smile as she ignited the car’s engine and drove out of their mansion and over to Shane’s.


    ** Shane’s Apartment **


    ” Wow you’re so handsome ” Mirah gushed a she stared at Brielle’s boyfriend, Cole for the umpteenth time. ” Thanks ” Cole replied with a chuckle and nced at Brielle who hanged her arm on his shoulder.


    ” Alright that’s enough ” Bryan had to butt in as he lifted Mirah up in his arm and away from Cole and the duo chuckled.


    ” Hi, I’m La. Nice to meet you ” La offered an handshake and Cole received it warmly. ” Nice to meet you.. I’m Cole ” He replied as they shaked lightly.


    He let go of her hand and she smiled lightly. ” Thanks for loving our friend ” La thanked seriously. ” It’s nothing.. she captured my heart and I love her so much, that’s why I’m here ” He said sweetly that Brielle couldn’t help but blush while La also smiled at how gentle of a man he is.


    ” Um.. ” Someone cleared his throat behind them and La turned to meet her hefty man behind them. He pulled La to himself possessively and the two lovers couldn’t help but chuckle at how possessively he held her.


    ” I’m sorry but I think I might have to steal her away from you two ” Shane said and Cole smiled. ” It’s fine ” He muttered and Brielle nodded.


    With that, Shane pulled La along with him up to his suite. They walked into his room and he locked the door behind them with her back resting against the door as he ced his arm above her head, caging her and he stared down at her possessively.


    ” What.. what are you doing? ” La had to ask. ” Why are you looking so pretty today ” He whispered into her ears, sending deep shivers down her spine.


    ” What.. what are you saying? ” La asked nervously. ” I can’t believe I let you offst night without touching you, I was so tired yesterday but today I’m not ” He said and before she could blink, his lips was on hers roughly.

    ” What’s bothering you? ” Shane asked as he ced a kiss on her lips shortly. They just finished a hot round of s*x and theyid naked and peacefully in each other’s arms. ” Is it that obvious? ” She asked and that made Shane raised his brows.


    ” So something is really bothering you? What’s it? ” He asked. ” It’s about us. I don’t think we can go on like this, I need to talk out things with mom and dad ” She muttered.


    ” Yeah, I’m still scared really. It’s like I’m facing rejection from your parents even without meeting them yet ” He muttered sadly. ” Come on. I promise, everything would be fine. I should just… I’m gonna try. I will, I promise ” She muttered.


    ” So you’re gonna talk to them about us or?.. ”


    ” I’mma tell them about us. I would tell them I love you so much and I can’t stay apart from you whether they want it or not. I would tell them to get rid of whatever hatred they have for people Ike you. Not everyone is like those people ” She muttered.


    ” Do you want me toe with you whenever you wanna talk to them? Or I could bring along mom and dad too ” Shane said but she smiled as she shook her head.
