    ” But I can read you ” He replied, and she looked away, breaking the stare.

    La was finally out of the big mansion and then realized, she has no idea where she was.


    ” Should I go ask him? ” She mumbled under her breath and made to turn but was stopped by the driver who had brought her there, he bowed and led her into the car and she heaved a sigh of relief.

    ” Oh my gawd! ” Mirah eximed as she saw La alight from a luxurious car.


    She’s been worried and had been waiting for so long and now La is here, but alighting from a luxurious car.

    She bowed thankfully and he did the same thing before entering the car and he drove off while the two girls walked into the apartment.


    ” So?… You rejected it? ” Mirah asked to be sure of what she had just heard and La nodded trying to study her expression.


    ” Alright ” Mirah replied but La noticed she doesn’t seem okay with it.


    ” Hey, are you okay? ” La asked, pulling her back and Mirah sighed.


    ” I just don’t think you should have rejected it, I mean we need money!, Your dad is there, he needs money and we have no hope of getting any right now!, We’re hopeless.. I mean, that money could sponsor our tution fees throughout our university… La… I know you had always tried to protect your dignity, but this.. you have to, we don’t wanna lose this opportunity ” She said and La sighed.


    ” I know, I mean, we need the money.. I just think it’s not right, we could get caught ” She said and Mirah scoffed.


    ” No, we won’t, Shane Kent is a millionaire,  he has lots of great connections, he’s well known,e on.. he has everything under control.. and since he assured you everything will be fine, then it will be fine.. and, this is also you helping him out, I mean he might die of depression or shame if the media found his fiancee left him some days to their wedding, am sure he’s devasted right now and he’s just trying to keep it in, let’s help him if this is the only way we can ” Mirah said and she nodded lightly.

    ” He left me a card with his phone number the other day I helped him, but…. I didn’t take it ” La said and Mirah sighed.


    ” We should check the restaurant! ” Mirah said and La nodded.
