Chapter 24 Are They Tied up Together
“Well, never mind. I have to go to the TV station to shoot.” Lillian stood up and thought time was going
to fix all the problems and people would soon forget about this thing.
“Lillian, you can find Archibald to ask who leaks those photos.” Stephen suggested.
“Archibald?” Lillian frowned. To be honest, she was really unwilling to ask for his help. She smiled and
replied, “OK, I will talk to himter.”
Sebastian was holding the newspaper tightly and stared that damn woman in the photo. Were they
really tied up together?
Joanna didn’t say anything beside them. She was a bit abstracted because she didn’t understand why
would those photos leak. They were already taken away by Archibald!
Or did Archibald permit the media to publish these photos? Was this his arrangement? She was scared
by this thought.
It was…it was so confusing.
Kieran entered the president’s room and brought every magazine and newspaper about this affair.
“Mr. Hawkins, I have found the samples you asked.” He looked at Archibald, who was standing in front
of the window and said in a respective manner.
Archibald turned around and picked one of the newspapers. He nced at the photos on it and smiled.
“Mr. Hawkins, Lillian will bound to have so many troubles after the publication of this news.” Kieran told
him his thought and couldn’t understand why did he do such a thing.
Archibald threw the newspaper, picked up his suit, and was going to leave, “Come on.”
Lillian heard it was noisy inside the dressing room when she came to the TV station to shoot a
children’s programme for one hour and a half.
“That’s why she was sent to shoot a big programme. Now it seems that Archibald is behind to help her.”
“Yes, people like us could only shoot some small programme.”
“Well, you can find someone to back you up if you are reconciled. I promise you will be well-known
soon.”
Many people wereughing and discussing about the rumour between Archibald and herself.
Lillian took a deep breath and walking in the dressing room with a smiled. People inside immediately
stopped taking and all looked at her silently. After reacting what happened, someone began to greet
her.
“Well, here is our celebrity. Which children’s gramme are you going to shoot?”
Someone quickly replied, “You don’t have to shoot a children’s programme. It will only waste your time.
Why don’t you just quit the job?”
Lillian knew they were satirizing her. She didn’t say anything but sat down to get dressed.
Nicole was also there to dress up. However, the dresser immediately came to Lillian to help her.
Anyway, she was popr in the TV station and the dresser had to take her to the priority.
Nicole was so angry. However, she couldn’t behave in front of so many people. She could only call a
new dresser here, while she was already full of hatred.
After shooting, Lillian got out of the TV station. However, there were a crowd of journalists in front of the
TV station, ready to interview her.
She didn’t see any journalist before arriving at the TV station. Where did they get the news that she
was there?
It was not a proper time for her to think about this. Now she should consider how could she manage to
leave this ce.
It seemed that she could only leave from the back door. When she was going to turn around, Nicole
walked out and said to her with a smile, “Hello, Lillian, are you going home?”
A bunch of journalists rushed towards her when hearing this.
Lillian was dumbfounded and wanted to retreat to the hall. However, Nicole blocked her way and
showed a smiling face.
“You…” Lillian finally figured out why journalists were here.
Many of them came at this moment and surrounded her tightly. Then they asked her so many sharp
questions.
Lillian thought anything would be fine when people had forgotten about this thing. Now it seemed that
she would be in trouble for a long time. Now she couldn’t even move any more.
When she was worrying, someone suddenly came to divide the crowd of journalists. There were
guards with ck suite and sun sses to open a way. Then Archibald came to her.
Lillian was in a trance when Archibald held her hands and guarded her get on the card.
This scene was shot by the journalists. Until their car disappeared, the journalists left unwillingly.
Lillian took a deep breath after getting on the car. At first, she thought her day was going to be ruined
by the journalists, luckily…When thinking of this, she turned around to look at the man beside her.
Archibald was sitting beside her calmly. When noticing she was looking at him, he raised up his hand to
help her with the messy hair.
Lillian was shocked and leaned back to dodge him. Then she frowned and looked at him alertly.
“Why did youe to the TV station?”
Archibald held back his hands and smiled, “I am here to save you.”
Lillian snorted and said casually, “Thank you. Could you please drop me out in the front?”
Archibald ignored her words and said, “I have never expected that you can remain calm, nice, but…It’s
may be inconvenient toe out these days.”
Lillian knew what he meant. It seemed that she was difficult to go out after having rumour with him. She
was angry when seeing his uncaring behaviour.
“Archibald, you should tell the media that they have mistaken us.”
Archibald turned around his eyes and stared at her, saying, “Don’t you know no one will believe us
even if I tell them the truth?”
Lillian bit her lips, stared at him for a while, and then looked out of the window.
Archibald continued saying, “What are you afraid of? There is nothing between us. Or do you think you
want to have affair with me?” He said thetter sentence in a slow way, seeming to hint something.

Hearing this, Lillian turned to look at him madly, “Archibald, I have told you that it’s impossible for me
and you to be in a rtionship. I don’t want to be chased by the journalists every day!”
Archibald didn’t get angry but grabbed out her phone from her pocket.
“What are you doing?” Lillian was amazed and was going to grab her phone.
Archibald acted really quickly. He dodged her hands and dialed a series of numbers.
His phone suddenly rang. He picked it up and said,
“I will arrange people to protect you these days. You can call me if you have any trouble. This is my
number. Save it.”
He saved his own number on her phone and then returned the phone to her.
Lillian looked at the new contact in her phone and wondered how could people like him exist in the
world. She had never asked for his number!
Archibald smiled after doing this and asked, “Where are you going?”
“To the hospital.” Lillian said subconsciously when hearing his words. She finally reacted that she was
going to get off at first. What a despicable man!
