Chapter 9 Pay with Your Body
When he closed the door and left Lilian behind, she leaned back, gasping. The man really knew how to
irritate her.
She shouldn''t get angry so easily, so she closed her eyes and patted her own chest to calm herself
down.
When she touched the diamond ne on her neck, she frowned. She didn''t want to keep it. She
took it off and put it on the table, looking at it as if it were devil''s fruit.
Fortunately, the yacht sailed back to the pier soon. Archibald hadn''te to harass her again.
Lilian asked his assistant for a bank ount and returned the money.
She felt fearful and grateful to the man who had helped her and taken advantage of her. She jumped
off the yacht as soon as she could, and took a cab.
She had a bad hunch about this. She somehow knew she wouldn''t be able to get rid of Archibald
easily.
Archibald walked out in a suit with dark vertical stripes. He watched her leaving; deep in her eyes, there
was the light of conquering shining.
"You just couldn''t wait to run away, do you?"
"Now that I''ve found you, do you think you can really get rid of me?"
"What you owed me... you should return it with the rest of your life!"
In amunity in the city.
This is where Lilian lived in.
Ever since Joanna drove her out of the apartment, Sebastian bought this house for her. The old man
gave Sebastian the order to live here.
However, Sebastian barely came back, which made this ce the exclusive nest for Lilian.
Lilian was exhausted today. When she opened the door today, however, she found in surprise that
Sebastian was in the living room.
He wrapped a towel around his waist. Obviously, he had taken a shower.
Sebastian saw Lilian stand at the door. She had a suitcase behind her, and looked like she just came
back from a trip. He frowned and asked, "Where have you been? Why sote?"
"I''m out for work," she put down her suitcase down and answered calmly.

"Work?" The man mocked, "Two days of work? As a prostitute?"
Lilian''s heart ached. She grifted her teeth and said, "Selling yacht."
Then she added, "Don''t worry. I''ve earned enough for Zoe''s surgery. I would never ask you for money
again. Save your money for Joanna."
Sebastian was instantly irritated. Obviously, he came back tough at Lilian as a joke.
He never expected Lilian could earn money through the highmission of selling yachts.
He never knew she could do that.
"Huh! Selling yacht? You must have been an escort and slept with thepany boss!"
Before Lilian could argue, Sebastian threatened her viciously, "Don''t forget that you''re my wife! If you
dare to hook up with other men and ruin my family reputation, I will teach you a good lesson."
"Don''t worry," Lilian clenched her fists and tried to stay calm, "I''m not you. You cannot think while I have
brain."
"You..." Sebastian looked gloomy, "Now that you''re back, you should go and cook dinner for me!"
He waited for her for a day and was almost starving. Her aggressive attitude made him furious.
"Go buy some fresh ingredients. I don''t eat off the fridge. After that, you should clean up my bedroom. I
only slept on new sheets..." he gave her these orders so smoothly. It seemed that he had been used to
treating her as a maid.
"Okay." Lilian didn''t seem angry at all. She turned back and started to prepare the food.
But when she worked so hard to have finally served a table of dishes, Sebastian''s phone rang.
"...Okay, I''m leaving now." His voice was low, and not as fierce as he was when talking to Lilian. She
could figure who he was talking to.
Joanna!
At the door, he said to her, "Be back to the old house tomorrow."
After that he mmed the door and left.
The words "old house" gave Lilian a headache. She didn''t want to be there, because every time she
was back, something bad would happen.
