Chapter 10: 19 degree Celsius


    The party


    A grand party was being organised


    Influential and powerful guests were invited


    The already clean castle was being cleaned to eliminate every single dust particle.


    And everyone around was busy making everything perfect for the perfect night


    "Saph !! What are you doing standing here!! Go and fetch miss Andrea ...ask her to check everything.


    Also help her to get ready!! Go!"


    Maria ordered with a stern look


    "...sure..ma’am right away.."


    I reached Andro and Andreas room and debated if I should knock


    I didn''t wanted to disturb them...


    I raised my hand to knock when the door swung open revealing a shirtless Alessandro standing in front


    of me.


    His set of perfect abs distracted me and instead of looking at him I bowed down my head

    My stuttering started again but before I could form aplete sentence a shirt was thrown at my face


    Not expecting it I shrieked with shock


    I held the shirt tightly in my hands and looked up at him


    "Get it ironed and be back in 5 minutes ,if not you are fired"


    5 minutes


    Not possible


    The iron was in theundry room on the ground floor


    I am not that fast ..how can I-


    "20 seconds gone.."


    He said looking at his rolex watch


    I turned around and ran at full speed screaming at everyone to move aside


    "Are you crazy!!!"


    Workers were shouting at me


    I am not crazy he is !


    I wanted to scream at them


    I overlooked the sign of wet floor and next I know my foot slipped making mend on my back


    I don''t have time to see the damage


    I got up up not caring about myself


    Once the shirt was ironed I made my way back to his room


    I knocked and tried to catch my breath taking huge gulps of air


    He opened and I held the shirt out


    He grabbed it from my hands and smirked looking at my crazy state


    "Thank god Saph you are here...please help me out ..e inside..e"


    Andrea saiding out and pulling me inside the room


    I continued to help her for the next half an hour


    But my back kept aching due to the fall.


    I didn''t show it but I knew it was worse than I thought.


    Atst the party started


    Gorgeousdies and handsome men


    Diamond jewels and Armani suits


    Exorbitant dresses and alluring fragrances all were present


    I was on the duty of serving drinks


    With an aching back and smiling face I was serving the drinks trying to keep the tray steady.


    I was feeling out of ce


    I was not beautiful like thedies present here not did I had millions of dors in my bank ounts


    But that was also the reason why I was here serving them while they were enjoying.


    "Excuse me ma''am ..drinks?"


    I asked ady


    When she turned around and picked the ss I froze

    Soon her expression changed from disgust to anger and she screamed at me attracting everyone''s

    "How dare you step into this building .....you disgusting wh***......who allowed you here!!"


    I felt heat enter my face in humiliation


    Everyone was now looking at me confused as to why Miss rissa Romano was screaming at a maid


    I looked down ashamed to look at her face after what I did with her son.

    I managed to say hoping she would not create a scene here at her son''s party


    But instead she continued to insult me further

    I had tears in my eyes...please not here under so many using eyes...please...

    She lifted my face with her hand disying my tears to everyone

    I closed my eyes

    My breathing was bing rugged


    I could hear my heart beat in my ears


    My throat was constricting


    Just then a loud voice was heard


    "Attention everyone!! Miss Stone and Mr Romano are arriving. Please gather near the centre of the

    The lights were turned off and a spotlight was positioned at the beginning of the staircase.


    They appeared hand in hand passing a smile to the crowd below


    Andrea whispered something in his ear and Androughed a fullugh


    I on the other hand was thankful


    Tears were running endlessly because of my inability to breathe.


    I sprinted away from all of them


    Pushing aside everyone I made my way towards my room


    Opening up the bottle I gulped 2 tablets...


    A sharp pain in my chest made mend down on the ground clutching my chest....


    I need more..2 are not enough...


    I ced 2 more on my palm and with shaky hands ced them in my mouth.


    Within minutes


    The pain subdued


    My hazy vision got clearer and I was able to breathe normally again


    But still that vision of her humiliating me continued to appear in front of my eyes


    I finished another bottle of water


    Just then Aria entered the room looking scared


    "O thank god Saph...you are here..I searched everywhere for you"


    "I.. .I.."


    Next I engulfed her in a bone crushing hug surprising her


    My sobbing increased making her hug me back tightly


    "Shhh..Saph..shhh it''s okay..everything is okay"

    She pulled me from the hug and held my face in her hands

    I calmed down listening to her

    She pulled me with her and I involuntary followed her.


    As I was walking through the halls I saw everyone looking at me and whispering something.


    I held my head down following Aria''s footsteps.


    Soon I stood in front of Maria


    "How iplete of you to leave your duty like that! Just take this tray and serve the guests over

    I held the tray and made my way towards the guests


    I refused to look up and guided my way looking at everyone''s shoes.


    A group of men stood there talking and when I approached them I heard his voice

    I served them the drinks one by one ..some refused some dly took them.. when I reached Andro he


    was still talking to someone and didn''t acknowledge me presence..


    "Drinks sir!"


    I managed to say but my little nervous voice was not audible enough to attract his attention


    I waited patiently but his conversation was not ending only


    "Sir!! Drinks"


    I said a little louder causing him to stop his conversation in between and direct his angry eyes at me.


    "Can''t you see I am talking to someone!!I don''t want it, get lost!!"


    Tears again left my already red eyes


    I looked up into his angry eyes and when he looked at my swollen red ones his expression changed


    Was it pity or concern ..I couldn''t distinguish


    "Hey man! Chill she is already shaking "


    One of the men there said making me realise that indeed I was


    I turned around quickly not able to look into his grey eyes any longer

    Before I could take one step further he grabbed my tiny wrist in his

    His words made me open up my eyes in shock

    Andro is the first and thest person I ever loved

    He smirked and tried to move more closer to me

    I moved my head further suddenly giving him a head hit with my forehead


    He screamed in pain and I found this as an opportunity to run.


    I ran at full speed as he followed me


    My head was getting lighter with each step I was took,


    Not only that but my back was also aching and my oxygen supply was getting restricted again.


    His footsteps wereing closer


    The hall in which I was running ended near Andro''s room


    I continued to limp towards his room


    But then suddenly my vision started getting hazy


    I could feel somethinging up from my throat


    My shaking legs copses making me give up.


    Before I could touch the ground I felt myselfnding on something soft.


    I coughed and I saw something whiteing out of my mouth.


    My wet swollen eyes could see a hazy figure holding onto me


    I tried opening my mouth further to get more oxygen but soon all energy left my body.


    Through that hazy view I could see those beautiful grey eyes looking at me and I gave up all the


    struggle to keep them open knowing that he was there now. He was there to save me.
