Chapter 41: He Felt Worried Because She Was Not Afraid of Death
Lawrence abruptly looked towards Jeffrey. He grabbed his cor with great force, pulling him over and
stared at him coldly and fiercely, “Charlotte came to my roomst night. She came to see me, right?”
“Mr. Harris, please calm down. Miss Garcia indeed came to see you.”
Jeffrey was tensed up. He looked at Lawrence nervously, “I know that you’re worrying about her, so I
deliberately brought her to the deck to have a conversationst night to buy time for you.”
“So she really came to your roomst night. Moreover, she…” Jeffrey added.
“I want to see her now.”
Lawrence let go of Jeffery. When he heard that Charlotte actually came to his roomst night, he
looked more relieved, “Ask her toe here. I want to see her. Or I cane to find her.”
When hearing Lawrence’s words, Jeffery, who was standing by the bedside, changed his expressions
slightly.
“Mr. Harris, we’re not on the yacht now. We’vee back to the manor.”
Jeffery paused and then continued while studying Lawrence’s expressions carefully, “Miss Garcia
hasn’t walked out of her bedroom after visiting youst night. When the yacht pulled in to shore today, I
led my men to send you to the car and asked two of them to pick up Miss Garcia. But when they came
back to the yacht, she was nowhere to be found.”
Lawrence was stunned. His expressions became extremely gloomy and scaring when he recalled that
she had taken away his ring.
At the next moment, he suddenly lifted the quilt and stammered towards the door.
“Mr. Harris!”
Jeffery hastily walked over to support him.
“Miss Garcia has returned to City B. What Evelyn did before has been exposed and she escaped from
the city. Miss Garcia is free and safe now. You don’t need to worry about her.”
“You can’t understand it.”
Lawrence abruptly closed his eyes, “She cares about nothing now and is not afraid of death. I’m afraid
that she would harm herself or evenmit suicide.”

Charlotte went to the police station alone after getting off Lawrence’s yacht.
Two female police officers received her.
