Chapter 4 Araceli remembers Alice


    “Who are you? Rachel asked again when she saw that Xander wasn''t replying but only looking at


    her dumbfounded. It wasn''t as if she didn''t recognize him, she recognized him quite well because she


    already processed all of Araceli’s memory as she knew he was the Xander that betrayed and set


    Araceli up.

    “Araceli, What did you mean by “who am I?” I''m your fiance!” Xander replied as he frowned.

    Instantly relieved that nothing major happened, the doctor heaved a sigh of relief. “The young man


    that brought her here?” The doctor asked. “He’s back?”


    “Yes, he is back, and he has a short temper. He can start throwing things.” The guard quickly.


    “Okay let''s go.” The doctor replied and took his coat from the peg and ushered the guard out of his


    office.


    “What did you mean by not recognizing me, Araceli? I brought you to this hospital!”


    That was the conversation the doctor and the guard heard immediately when they entered, the


    other guards stationed by the door already entered and were pleading with Xander to leave.


    “Mr Xander?” Xander heard a calm voice calling his name and turned around and saw a doctor at


    his back.


    “Yes?” He replied with a frown. Why is a doctor here?


    “Mr Xander, the patient is diagnosed with amnesia and your attitude towards her right now is not


    beneficial to her health, so I will have to ask you to leave this hospital room.” The doctor responded.


    “Amnesia? Like she didn''t remember anything?” Xander asked presumably. Wouldn''t that be


    better?


    If she didn''t remember anything, that means she didn''t remember the setup and how she almost

    didn''t remember only you.” The doctor concluded with a smile.


    “Did you remember what happened to you? I brought you here when I saw you in a basement not


    far from your office. Can you exin what happened to me? We have to bring those mean people to


    justice.” Xander said to Rachel in aforting and caring voice.


    Rachel was astonished at this act, she almost shouted omg, this man right here should be


    awarded Oscar for his performance.


    Why wasn''t he even an actor rather than a businessman? He would have been a fantastic actor.
