Belle''s POV
Niki and Alexei insisted on bringing me to school. There''s a car ahead of us while two other ck
SUV''s are behind us.
As per usual, I''m on Niki''sp while Alexei is sitting beside us. Yuri is on the passenger seat while
Boris drives. I did not fight it out with Niki anymore. I nowpletely understand why Niki does
what he does. I know it will take time to get used to this but I will try my best to abide. I really find ironic
my current situation. I escaped the overprotective shell that my parents made for me but I ended up
with Niki, who by far is a hundred times overprotective.
Niki is kissing my hand and my ruby ring while his other hand is on my thigh. Niki and I are like
love sick lovebirds. Permanent smiles are stered on our faces while making out and fondling each
other like there''s no one else in the SUV but the two of us. Alexei nces from time to time and would
shake his head at us.
Several minutes past, the car pulled over at St. Mary''s. I wrap my arms around Niki''s neck and
pushed my breasts tightly to his chest.
"I love you Niki. Ill see youter."
"I love you baby." Niki kisses me on my lips while cupping my right breast.
I then leaned over towards Alexei, wrap my arms around his neck and kissed him on his cheek.
"Take care Alexei. Ill see you bothter."

"Hey Belle! A pleasant morning! You look exceptionally happy!" Lilly greeted me after I went out of the
car. She his holding folders in front of her. She''s wearing eyesses and a simple floral Sunday dress.
She looks at the four SUV''s on the street. Niki and Alexei would always wait until I finally enter the
school entrance before driving away. She then looks at Ivan and Vasily who are now following me from
behind.
"Hello Lilly! A pleasant morning to you too. Indeed I am exceptionally happy."
She then smiles at me in response. "I have heard your boyfriend is the biggest donor at St. Mary''s."
I really don''t know how to answer her, so I just smile at her. Geez, Lilly is kind of nosy.
"Dr. Thomas said your boyfriend started donating money here at around the time that you started
working here as well. You and your boyfriend are good people Belle, you know what will happen to our
kids if not for donors like your boyfriend."
I want to believe that Niki donates money here because of charity but knowing Niki, I cant help
but think that he only sends money so he can easily get his way at my workce.
I quickly brush off the thought. I am going to give my Niki the benefit of the doubt, although at the
back of my mind I know my hunch is not far from reality.
"Oh by the way, a guy named Dardan came looking for you yesterday but you already left when he
came."
Oh my god. It''s probably about the resignation I sent through text message.
"He left you a box full of flowers."
My eyes widened in horror. I quickly grab Lilly and tried to hush her. Ivan and Vasily are just a few feet
away.
"Hush Lills."
Lilly nced at Ivan and Vasily. She then lowered her voice while talking to me.
"What did Dardan tell you?" I asked curiously.
"Nothing. He just asked if you were here. I think he asked Dr. Thomas for your address."
Oh god. At this point my heart is already beating very fast. Thetest address I ced in my
information sheet was Dn''s address. I bade goodbye to Lilly and went inside the ssroom.
As I give activities to my kids, I scanned my phone to check my messages. The missed calls are mostly
from Dardan and another unknown number. I opened Dardan''s text messages.
Ms. Belle, my Boss would like to have a word with you. Can we meet? -Dardan
It''s important that we meet Ms. Belle. - Dardan
I know I had to see Dardan and tell him personally that I wont be able to continue my work with Artan,
his boss, but I''m still figuring out how to do it without Ivan and Vasily knowing.
I sigh in frustration. What have I put myself into?
After the ss I went to my desk at the faculty lounge. As I approach my desk, a rectangr box with
the most beautiful blood red roses as big as tennis balls are inside the box. It has a handwritten note
attached to the flowers.
I am a man who knows what I want, and I am telling you now that I want you Belle. I will not apologize
for my actions because I did not regret kissing you. I am going to get you. Nobody says no to me baby.
Oh my god Artan. I cant believe he is doing this. I then remember that night when he forced himself to
caress and kiss me, not to mention the part when he asked if he could fuck me. There must be
something wrong with this man.
All of a sudden my heart jumped when Lilly appeared from nowhere. I then quickly ced the note
inside my bag.
"So what did it say?"
Yup, she is nosy.
"What do you mean?"
"The note, what did it say."
Uh none of your business Lills.
"Oh just a thank you note."
"These are sooo pretty. I really love roses." He held the bouquet and smelled the flowers.
"You like them?"
"Of course, these are my favorite."
"You can have them."
"Really?" Lilly''s eyes widened in awe.
"Yah, I''m allergic to roses anyway." I lied.
"Thank you so much! Wanna go grab lunch?"
"Uh no thanks." I then pointed at Ivan and Vasily who are standing outside the door.
Lilly then made an o shape on her mouth and nodded.
"Well I''ll see you tomorrow Belle."
"See you Lills." I gave her a faint smile and waved at her.
We are on our way to Dn''s. I am still thinking about the note Artan sent to me. I have to see Artan
himself to finish this once and for all.
Oh god, what would my future husband think and most importantly what would he do if he knows about
this. I cringe just by thinking about Niki''s reaction if he finds out about Artan.

"Say something A."
Amy is looking at my engagement ring nkly.
"A, please say something! Aren''t you happy for me?"
"I just never thought that this would happen so fast. I mean, how long have you known Niki? I
thought that the two of you are just, you know, going to get to know each other more before getting
engaged. And Niki is the Boss of the Russian Mafia, he is the head of a criminal organization B!
They kill and beat people down just like that." Amy is saying her words with all her conviction.
"I know Niki more than you could ever think A. I know the real him. If you could just give him a
chance." I held Amy''s hands tightly.
"B, he''s gonna have to ask a lot from you. Are you sure you can handle it? He is going to control you.
Heck, he even controls your freakin haircut!"
I did not answer Amy. I looked down and realized something. Niki indeed is in control of my life now.
"Did he... did the two of you?"
I know what Amy is trying to ask.
"Yes."
"Did you use protection? Gosh B, please tell me you used protection."
I looked down because I cannot look Amy in the eyes.
"Are you really out of your fucking mind?!!!!! Where did your humongous brain go Arabe? What if you
get pregnant? What''s next B?! How are you going to raise your kids if their father is a gangster?"
A tear is now falling down my face. Why cant she just be happy for me? I can''t stand this confrontation
anymore so I quickly stood up and stormed out of Dn''s house.
"B!!!"
Amy called out my name but I ignored her. I try to wipe my tears off of my face before Ivan and Vasily
will notice me. At the back of my mind I know Amy is just looking after me. Perhaps I just cant stand
