Chapter 16


    Belle''s POV


    We are in the car on our way to the beach party thrown for Niki. Alexei is in the front passenger seat


    talking to someone on the phone while Boris is the driver. I''m sitting on Niki''sp while checking the


    papers of the kids. Niki on the other hand have been sniffing and kissing my hair, my neck, my ear,


    my shoulder and sometimes my boobs. I don''t get to spend a lot of time with him so I will make the


    most out of this day. It''s his very special day so I just allow him to do whatever he wants, besides I


    really enjoy Niki''s yfulness, I''m notining.


    "Your flower smells good baby." Oh my god I know that Niki is talking about the small flower clipped


    on my hair but that did not sound innocent at all. I heard Alexei chuckle in front. I felt my face turn


    crimson. These two really enjoy embarrassing me. I hurl to Alexei the pen that I am holding. It just hit


    his chest. I quickly removed myself from Niki and grabbed the pen back from Alexei. While half of


    my body is already on Alexei I pointed to him the flower Niki was talking about.


    "Niki is talking about this flower A-lex-ei!" I pronounced each syble slowly. To my horror Alexei

    sniffed the flower as well.


    "Hmmm, you''re right Boss, her flower indeed smells good." This time I heard Niki chuckle. I parted


    my lips in disbelief. These two are too much! I smack Alexei on his shoulder and when I got back on


    Niki''sp, I smack him with the papers that I''m holding. Niki lets out augh and just went back


    on running his fingers through my hair.


    The cars pulled over. Yuri and others went out of the first SUV and waited for us to alight. There are a


    lot of ck cars parked around the house. I can already hear the musicing from the beach side.


    Alexei went out of the car first. I then removed myself from Niki''sp and ced the kids papers


    back to my bag.


    Boris went out of the car and opened the door for us. Niki held my hand while we walk towards Yuri


    and others.


    Niki, Alexei, and Yuri talked to each other in Russian and looked all too serious. Geez I thought we


    are going to a party, why do they look like they are going to a gun fight or something?


    Niki is holding my hand while I stand right beside him. He is wearing a white cotton shirt and loose


    cream colored pants. He''s wearing sun sses and his hair is disheveled by the wind. Damn baby, why


    you so damn hot? Alexei is on my other side. He''s wearing a button down white shirt and the same


    loose cream colored pants. If I did not know better, I would think that these two are biological brothers.


    When we entered the beach house, there are a few men and women our age and some perhaps a little


    older than us are talking and drinking. The moment they saw Niki, they all froze as if they saw God.


    All eyes are glued on Niki and his entourage. The look on their faces is puzzling. It''s like a mix of


    awe and fear at the same time. Is Niki that frightening as a boss?


    Niki on the other hand seems used to the attention he attracts. He continued clutching my hand and


    walked towards a room reserved for us.


    "Baby, listen to me. You dont talk to anyone except to me, Alexei, Yuri and Boris. Okay?"


    "But why?"


    "Just trust me on this?" Niki''s eyes are pleading. It looks like it''s really important to him.


    "Okay."


    "The ne looks perfect on you. Never take this away from you no matter how much you hate me


    in the future, okay?" He rubs the heart shaped pendant with his fingers.


    "Why would you say that Niki?"


    He did not answer me. He just looks me in the eyes.


    "Fine, I promise not to remove this no matter how much I hate you."


    "Good girl." Niki said before nting a long sweet kiss on my lips.


    We went out of the room and walked the hallway towards the beach. Yuri and the boys are walking


    ahead of us while Alexei is behind me and Niki.


    The beach looks beautiful but not as beautiful as the ones from back home. There are at least seven


    Yachts not too far from the beach side and several small boats. One Yacht is very prominent, it''s the


    biggest and it''s named after Yelena.


    The tables, chairs and tents are all white. There are people ying volleyball, others are having


    barbecue, some are dancing, drinking and sun bathing. Now this is a party.


    There are several tents a few feet apart from each other. One thing I noticed is that most of the people


    on the big tents are people in their forties and older. There are a several women in the big tents but


    majority are old, balding men. There are also rectangr tables with beach umbres lined beside the


    big tents. Wow, Niki sure has a hugework of people.


    As we walk towards the tent where Yuri and others are now surrounding, I can see the same reaction


    on the peoples faces. Some try to hide it but it''s quite obvious who they are looking and talking about.


    It''s like the world stopped revolving in the beach when we arrived.


    An old man wearing a fedora and a suspender called on Niki. I can see Niki greeted him with a


    smile. I did not understand a single word in their conversation. Niki sounded like he excused himself


    to the old man and faced me and Alexei.


    He then lets go of my hand and grabbed me towards him. "Baby, Alexei will take you to our tent."


    I just nodded at him. Alexei and I went to the biggest tent in the beach. There''s a table full of food and a


    cake in the back portion of the tent and three beach chairs in front. Alexei pointed me to the middle


    chair. I sat on it and took my sunblock from my bag.


    Niki is at one of the bigger tent talking to some men. I can see the girls around ogling him. I cant


    me them though, my Niki has the same effect on me. You can oggle all you wantdies but


    Niki is mine. Only mine. I smiled at my silly thoughts.


    I am in the middle of putting on sunblock when all of a sudden something hit me in the head. What the?


    It''s a beach ball and I think I know who the culprit is.


    "Alexei!"


    "It''s not my fault you''re not paying attention." He''s standing arrogantly a few meters away from me. He


    doesn''t have shirt on but he''s still wearing his loose cream colored pants. I can clearly see his tattoos


    just like my Niki''s but without the wolf''s head. Alexei is no doubt drop dead gorgeous. He exudes the


    kind of charm I myself could not understand. No wonder women are obsessed with him. But I cant help


    but think about the woman from Dile''. Yes, he''s difficult sometimes but I just could not picture him out


    beating women.


    "You''re gonna pay for this A-lex-ei!" I ran as fast as I can to catch him but I think no matter what I do,


    the man will just outrun me.


    "Ouch! My foot." I acted like I''m really hurt. I sat on the sand and held my right foot as if in pain.


    Alexei ran back to me and he looks all worried. I got you boy!


    "Shit. What happened, are you hurt?"


    I slowly let out a wicked smile. He knows that I got him. He scampered to stand but I quickly ride his


    back and wrapped my arms around his neck.
