Chapter 109: Did someone hit you?
A deep husky voice was heard from the other side "Sure. Xi Mei, is it?"
"Yeah" Shi Yun confirmed.
"The reports will sent to you by tonight." Following by his answer, he hung up.
*Knock knock*
"Shi Yun, Can Ie in?" Shi Fengge called out from the other side.
Shi Yun took a deep breath, before picking up the lipstick " Yeah, The door is open."
Applying the lipstick, She peered at the handsomely dressed young man at the door with a confusion
on her face.
"Gege, Are you going to work?" She asked.
"It is rted to work but not in office. I am having business dinner. Tell me quickly, How am I looking?"
Shi Fengge asked with a huge grin.
Raising her hand, she gave him a thumbs up but didn''t say anything further. Instead got up and fixed
her dress.
"I heard you are going for your cheerleading practice. Let me drop you there." He said he swirled his
car keys.
She shook her head " You don''t have to. I will drive by myself."
Shi Fengge frowned "Why? I am heading to the same direction. Let me just drop you. And your hand is
injured too."
Shi Yun still declined him. Eventually, He gave up and they went on their ways by themselves.

Li Seulbi slowly opened the door and looked around here and there. After confirming no one there. She
rushed up towards her room.
However, Su Yumi who just got back from market noticed Li Seulbi''s silhouettes , she flinched in
surprise '' Seulbi? Isn''t she supposed to be at school?''
"Seulbi!! Is that you?" Su Yumi called out.
Li Seulbi who was climbing the stairs halted her steps. Pursing her lips, she ran even faster towards
her room.
Hearing the loud noisesing from stairs but with no response, Su Yumi got rmed. ''Maybe i am
wrong. Is there robber in the house?''
She threw the groceries aside and hastily dialed Li Cheng''s number who went cloth shopping with Tang
Fian.
After telling everything, Li Cheng told Su Yumi to leave the house immediately and go to neighbors
temporarily but contrary to his advice Su Yumi took her wooden cane and climbed the stairs warily.
"Li Seulbi?! Is that you?" She called out just to confirm again.

thinking robber broke into the house.
"Whoever you are, I have called the police and i have a weapon. So, You better try not to-" Su Yumi
who was trying to buy some time was bbergasted when she saw injured Li Seulbiing out of the
room.
"YUMI!! Are you crazy? Why would you call the police?!"
After hearing that her grandmother called the police, Seulbi mind turned nk. Without caring anything,
she went outside and shouted.
"Seulbi? What happened? How did you get injured? " Su Yumi eximed worriedly as she saw Li
Seulbi''s swollen cheek and bandaged face.
Only then, Li Seulbi realized she dug her own grave. Bitting her lips, she remained silent.
Throwing her cane, Su Yumi walked towards Li Seulbi and touched her face with her trembling aged
hand , still in state of shock, "Seulbi, I asked what happened? Did someone hit you?"
"Umm..I-" Just as Li Seulbi was trying to make an excuse, they heard door mming and rushed
footsteps.

"I asked all the neighbors, but they said mother hasn''t contacted them in anyway. That means mother
is still in the house. Honey, what should we do? Should we call police?" Tang Fian asked as she peered
at Li Cheng.
He shook his head " No, Mom said she thinks some robber broke into home. It''s just her assumption, if
we called police and it turns out that her assumption was wrong then that won''t be good. "
" Then? What are we gonna do? What if it''s real and he stole everything?" Tang Fian was concerned
that her belongings would be stolen.
Li Cheng , who was worried about Su Yumi, said " You stay here, I will check the house. If i don''t return
in one hour, inform the police. Okay?"
Tang Fian stared at him anxiously but eventually nodded her head.

After entering the house, he grabbed the golf stick and scanned the house in cautious way.
He noticed Su Yumi''s shoes at the doorstep and the groceries near the stairs.
"Mom? Are you home?" He shouted. But there was no reply.
Frowning, he hurriedly walked near the stairs. Then, he heard the door mming upstairs. Tightening
his grasp over the golf stick, Li Cheng began to climb the stairs.
*Badum Badum*
Feeling his heart palpitate at each step, he finally arrived at Li Seulbi''s room. He saw Su Yumi''s
wooden cane lying on the floor.
'' Mom''s cane? Should i call her out once more? No what if the robber gets alert and harms mom. I
need to approach carefully. Don''t worry Li Cheng, you have practiced martial arts, everything will be
okay'' He clenched his fist as he picked up the wooden cane.
Golf stick at right hand & wooden cane at his left, taking a deep breath he was about to kick the door,
when the door suddenly opened.
Startled, he backed away and put both the stick and cane in front of him as a defense. When he saw
the person who opened the door, he was surprised.
"Mom? Are you okay?" He threw those things away before approaching Su Yumi. Su Yumi silently shut
the door behind her before replying " Let''s talk downstairs. Xiao Seulbi is sleeping."
Without waiting for him, She began to move downstairs.
Dumbfounded Li Cheng, blinked a few times in daze before Su Yumi''s voice hit his brain . He shouted "
Li Seulbi? She is here? Wasn''t she supposed to-"
He was met with Su Yumi''s death re making him zip his mouth instantly and follow her.
