Chapter 78: Nanny Sui''s Granddaughters


    Lu San said as he stretched his back " He sprained his leg and hurt his head. But Doctor told that he is


    fine now but needs to observed for few days. Mom, I am not hungry but am very tired though. So, Let''s


    call it a night. okay?"


    Mo Xia wanted to say something but eventually looking at Lu San''s tired eyes she dismissed her


    thoughts. Mo Xia nodded her head and stood up to go to her bedroom.


    Lu San also stood up intending to return to his room. " Xiao San, Are you sure you are not hurt


    anywhere?" Mo Xia asked. Lu San wasn''t irritated by how overprotective Mo Xia was being.


    Instead he smiled. He hugged his beloved mother. " Mom, Don''t stress yourself. I am really fine. If you


    don''t believe me you can call Doctor Tang tomorrow to check on me, okay? Let me take you to your


    room."


    Mo Xia shook her head as she parted from his embrace " No no, Go to your room and rest well. Good


    night, dear." Lu San was her beloved son after all.


    Mo Xia gave birth to Lu San prematurely. Doctor also stated the child may get serious medical

    took you so long? I and sister were so worried. "

    By the way where is your sister?"


    Nanny Sui asked her little 7 years old granddaughter as she took off her shoes and went inside.


    " Sister is cooking dinner. She said she is going to make my favourite pork stew." The little girl spoke


    softly.

    walked towards her.


    " Sis Mei, Grandma is shocked that you are cooking. Hehe." The little girl chuckled.


    Xi Meiughed awkwardly " Is it something to be shocked about? I have been taking sses from you,


    grandma. Thus it is natural for me to work on it independently now. And Yansu kept telling me she was


    hungry. So i took the initiative."


    Nanny Sui caressed Xi Mei''s hair " My dear Mei is so smart. Sorry i couldn''te in time and teach


    you to cook the springrolls. I promise you I will teach you next time, okay?"


    " Grandma,Don''t worry about the cooking. You must be very tired and hungry. I just finished cooking.


    Eat it then we will talkter, okay. I will go get the food. Wait for a while."


    Nanny Sui nodded her head. She took Xi Yansu and sat on dinning table where Xi Mei was cing the


    foods one by one. The food''s aroma spread throughout the room as Xi Yansu opened the lid.


    " Oh, It smells so nice. Sister, Is this really your first time cooking?" Xi Yansu asked as she hurriedly


    took a bite of the stew.


    Her eyes became big as tennisball as she slowly chewed the pork stew.


    " Is it good?" Both Nanny Sui and Xi Mei looked at Xi Yansu feeling nervous. Xi Yansu looked at Nanny


    Sui then at Xi Mei.


    She raised her little hand and gave her a thumbs up. " This is the best pork stew i have ever eaten. I


    am suprised it taste more good than Grandma''s cooking. How?"


    Both Xi Mei and her grandma were suprised to hear her response. Then,Both of them ate the stew.

    that i will get to eat these delicious foods everyday. Sis Mei, You will cook, right?"


    Xi Mei thought for a while but before she could respond Nanny Sui objected " No, Meimei, you just


    enrolled in a new school. Your first priority should be your studies. Susu, don''t bother your sister for


    it,okay? "


    Xi Mei looked at her little sister''s disappointed look " I think Grandma is right. Though i want to cook


    everyday but as you know i take a lot of time cooking even a simple dish. That may hamper my


    studies."


    " Why don''t we do this, I will cook you every weekend and everytime it will be your favourite dishes,


    okay?" Xi Mei continued.


    Xi Yansu eyes brightened " Really? My favourites, every Weekend?"


    Xi Mei nodded her head. Seeing her nod, Xi Yansu became happy and excited.


    Looking at her two granddaughters delighted faces, She couldn''t help but to smile as well.
