Chapter 22- Changes


    JULIANA''s POV


    "Tyberias, did I tell you how attractive you look today" I smiled as I entered his home office and went to


    sit on hisp.


    "What do you want?" He asked suspiciously as his arms circled my waist and he stopped his work.


    "Can''t Ipliment my amazing boyfriend?" I smiled innocently.


    He raised his eyebrow in reply.


    "Okay, fine. You got me" I confessed and rolled my eyes.


    "So.... I was thinking" I began.


    "Oh no" he sighed.


    "And... I think it would be a good idea if Iquitmyjobandworkedforyou" I mumbled.

    "I want to quit my job and work for you" I said and bit my lip nervously.

    I started thinking of puppies dying and on cue, my eyes began to water.


    I sniffed as tears began streaming down my face.

    "Wait. Juliana,e back" I heard him sigh.


    I smiled smugly, my n worked. I made sure to put on my crying expression when I turned back

    "You''re not going to be working for me." He said and I frowned. That wasn''t how this was supposed to


    go.


    "You''re going to be working with me" he finished and I smiled brightly.


    "But you should know that I''m not going to give you anything too dangerous to do" he warned.


    "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you" I smiled and ran up to jump on hisp before wrapping my arms


    around his neck and embracing him in a tight hug.


    He chuckled and hugged me back.


    "So. When do I start"

    "Wee to the warehouse. This is where most our shipmentse in and go out" he said as we


    stepped into the massive building where there were many people crowding the ce.


    "Boss" a man nodded in greeting. But Tyberias didn''t just ignored him and led me to his office. This was


    the fifth time he ignored someone''s greeting.


    "Stop being mean and ignoring people " I frowned at him and lightly elbowed him in the stomach.


    "O" he exaggerated and rubbed the spot where I hit him.


    "You deserve it"


    "Maybe you should make it up to me by giving me a kiss" he suggested.


    "You''ll get a kiss when I think you deserve it"


    The next person walked past "good afternoon, boss" he said. I was somewhat expecting Tyberias to


    ignore him like the others but he mumbled "Good afternoon, Jonathon".


    I looked up to him and smiled.


    "Happy?" He smiled sarcastically


    "Very." I said and quickly reached up to peck him on the lips.


    "Hey! I want a refund that wasn''t a proper kiss" he pouted adorably.


    We entered the empty elevator and Tyberias presses the 19th floor. I saw this as an opportunity and


    quickly pressed the big red button, which I assumed would stop the elevator


    Before he could protest, I quickly tugged his down to my level and ced my lips on his

    "I need to-" I began but was quickly interrupted as he ced another kiss on my lips. I moaned as his


    tongue lightly brushed my lips.


    "I need to speak to you about something" I finally managed to say as I remembered what I had been


    thinking about on the journey here


    "Jump" he said,pletely ignoring what I said, and he started to lift me up by my hips. I jumped and


    wrapped my legs around his waist. He began cing small kisses on my jaw as he walked us to a wall


    and pushed my back against it.


    I was finally up to his height, face to face. I looked around the space around us. Woah. He views the


    world so differently.


    His hands moved to rest on my thighs, dangerously close to my ass. I moaned as he squeezed my


    thigh tightly and trailed his kisses to my neck.


    "What do you need to talk about?" He asked and grinned as he was greeted with silence. I couldn''t find


    the words to speak.


    I cleared my throat "this mystery stalker knows where I used to live. I don''t think it''s safe for my mom


    and sister to be living there." I finally managed to get the words out.


    "Okay, I''ll find them an apartment near us so you can still visit them regrly." He said. He went to lean


    in to ce more kisses on my neck but I ced a hand on his chest stopping him.


    "Visit? So... You still want me to live with you ?" I asked and blushed. I would''ve thought he would want


    me to go live with them again.


    "Of course I do" he smiled and pecked my lips.


    "I don''t think anyone else would be able to tolerate you" he added with a smirk.


    I scoffed and yfully hit his chest.


    "Thank you, for everything you''re doing for me, Tyberias"


    "You don''t need to thank me, I like helping you. I''m takingplete care of you now." I said and lightly


    kissed my forehead.


    We were interrupted by a loud bang. All of a sudden the elevator doors were forced apart and men in


    suits stood with their guns pointing at us. I recognised Adrian as one of them.


    "What the fùck is wrong with you?" Tyberias asked.


    "We-We thought you were in trouble. You pressed the rm" he said and his eyes widened and a wide


    grin formed on his face as he looked at mine and Tyberias''promising position.


    I quickly jumped off him and lightly pushed him away.


    Tyberias scoffed and led me out of the elevator to his office. But not before purposely bumping his


    shoulder with Adrian''s and muttering "cockblock".


    "Woah" I gasped as we entered his office.


    He sat behind the desk and I leaned on the big mahogany desk. I trailed my fingers on it, imaging all


    the things Tyberias could do to me on it.


    "I know what you''re thinking about" He smirked and I blushed and shook my head.


    "I wasn''t thinking about that. You just have a dirty mind" Imented.


    "So you''re not thinking about me bending you over this desk and fùcking you so hard you won''t be able


    to walk for the next week. Or about how anyone could walk in and find us. But I think you''d like that.


    You like the possibility of getting caught. You like the excitement and thrill it gives you."


    "Tyberias, the guns are ready" Adrian said barging into the office. To find me pressed up against the


    table with Tyberias'' hand running up my leg.


    "Never mind, I see you''re busy" he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.


    "Learn how to fucking knock." Tyberias sighed loudly and gripped my hand to lead me out of the office.


    "Where are we going?" I asked.


    "Have you ever used a gun before?"
