Doubt
Standing on the stone floor, Ming Yue recalled the battle flow that had just happened before it ended.
She remembered how she moved her body, how she defeated that huge cobra but she also
remembered how she was in trans, focusing only on the second stage movement of Yueliang Hua.
More over, the memories of Chang''e was increasing and the feeling she had about those memories
was as if it belonged to Ming Yue, herself.
''...Who.. am I..?''
Suddenly Ming Yue felt fear. Fear of losing herself, fear of bing something or someone different,
fear of losing her life as Ming Yue. Along with fear, came curiosity. Ming Yue currently was suspicious
of the four beasts, Silver Moon and Ling Mao. They easily epted her as their master, was it only
because she gained ess to Tianshang De Kongjian and became the current owner? Was it really
that simple?
"Master?" Ling Mao who already approached her with Yang Lixin by her side, called out to Ming Yue.
"Are you feeling hurt somewhere?" she asked in worry.
Ming Yue stared at the child for a while, her expression was unreadable. "I will live." she said coldly.
Her cold tone caught Ling Mao off guard, because Ming Yue never used such cold tone to people she
cared about.
"Even if I die, all of you will find another master anyway." She added.
Such words shocked the four beasts and Ling Mao. Yang Lixin stood silent, he somehow noticed there
was something different with his young miss. It as if she became distant.
"Master! How could you say something like that?!" Bai Hu said in anger, "Of course our master is only
one, that is you!"
"Master, is something wrong?" Zhu Que asked, "You won''t say things like this if there isn''t a cause."
Snorted coldly, Ming Yue forced herself to smile. "It''s nothing." She said and walked toward the door.
The four beasts just stared at Ming Yue''s back, three were anxious and confused while only one beast
stared at Ming Yue with unreadable eyes. The four beasts followed Ming Yue right away, waiting for the
right time to ask what was happening with her. Yang Lixin walked toward the door but his steps faltered
when he heard Ling Mao''s trembling voice.
"Is.. Is Master angry with Ling Mao?" Ling Mao asked, her eyes were teary.
Yang Lixin didn''t know what to give as an answer, because he also realized that something was indeed
wrong with Ming Yue. However, he also wasn''t so heartless to let the little girl cried. "No. I think she is
just feeling tired."
"Re-Really?" Ling Mao asked, feeling hopeful. The one that she feared the most was if herdy was
angry at her, even hate her.
Yang Lixin''s eyes softened, "Mn. Really." he said and extended his hand, "Come, we should follow her
quick."
Ling Mao nodded repeatedly before walking fast toward Yang Lixin in her small steps and held his
hand. Together they walked quickly to chase after Ming Yue who already left ahead of them.
The group arrived at the assembly hall. As soon as they entered, the people inside looked relief.
Principal Zhuge came forward, "Student Ming Yue, how was it?"
"It''s done." Ming Yue simply answered and gave order to Ling Mao, "Mao Mao, erase their memories."
"Y-Yes, Master!" Ling Mao replied nervously but before she took the talisman from her sleeve, Mo Liu
stepped forward, walking toward Ming Yue.
"Little Moon, I refuse to have my memory erased." He said, his eyes and expression showed how he
didn''t ept any refusal from Ming Yue.
"We too, Leader!" Mu Chen stepped forward, behind him, Ming Ran and Yu Wang followed.
Ming Yue sighed, "Brother Mo, it''s not good to know much about the hidden part of the world. Not only
you will likely be the prey without the ability to defend yourself, you will also put danger to the
people around you."
"Don''t I have you?" Mo Liu asked, smiling softly. The three male beasts who heard his words, red at
him. Yet, Mo Liu ignored itpletely.
Ming Yue was not in the mood to respond to his yfulness, she only sighed and turned her gaze to
her three friends. "As for you three, I can''t." As Mu Chen wanted to refute, Ming Yue raised her hand to
stop him.
"At least not now, when the time is right, I will let Ling Mao returns the lost memories to three of you.
Before that happens, you have to train first. Otherwise it will be dangerous." Ming Yue exined,
"..Promise?" Ming Ran asked.
A small smile appeared on her face, "Promise." Ming Yue answered solemnly.
Thus Ling Mao took three talismans from her sleeve. She threw it up to the sky and it formed a triangle,
facing the people. She bit her finger, let the blood flow, pointed it forward and drew a seal on the air.
The seal appeared at the center of the triangle as soon as she finished and the three talisman glowed
and the gathered people felt huge headache attacking them. As if their heads were going to split in two.
Groan and scream of pain erupted and soon after, they passed out.
Sighing in relief, Ling Mao watched the three talismans burned to ashes after fulfilling its duty. She
nervously turned her gaze to Ming Yue, who watched the whole thing with expressionless face. "It''s
done, Master."
"Mm." Ming Yue only gave such response, didn''t even say more words to the anxious Ling Mao. She
turned her gaze to Mo Liu, "Brother Mo, about the damage hallway."
"Leave it to me." Mo Liu spoke, "We can make it like there is a gas leak or such. Luckily theb is also
near, we can use it."
"Can I leave it to you?" Ming Yue asked, "I want to go home."
Mo Liu nodded, clearly he knew Ming Yue would be tired. Even though she had special power, she just

Receiving the permission to go home early, Ming Yue smiled softly "Thank you, Brother Mo." She said
and left the assembly hall.
Mo Liu stared at her back, never took off his eyes until Ming Yue disappeared beyond the door. The
expression on his face... was unreadable..
