Archana''s PoV
I couldn''t believe what I''m seeing. As far as I know, no one has everid their hands on her. But now,
her cheek is swollen like a balloon and I could even see her husband''s fingerprints on her cheek.
When she came home, she went straight to the room and locked herself. My mom got so scared and
we banged the door.
"Please! Give me some time. I wille in an hour. Aunty, make some nice dinner." she shouted from
inside.
We knew she would be alright if we give some time. I don''t know anything that happened. I only got to
know that she is married when Aakash anna said that they areing home for lunch. After exactly an
hour, she came out wearing my t-shirt and shorts.
"What happened? I thought you just wanted to visit me when you called. Shall I call Aakash?"
"No Achu. I''m fine."
"Fine? Seriously? Look at you. You have cried. Your eyes carry a big bag underneath. Your cheek is
swollen! And you say you are fine?" She is unbelievable.
"Pch, Rx Achu. My husband and I had a fight and he pped me." She said like it was nothing.
"I can see that on your face." I said.
"I never imagined my all-time dream woulde true." she closed her eyes dreamily. My mom looked
at me and her.
"Danya! Are you hurt somewhere else?" My mom asked her.
"Pch, Mom, Ask her straight. Hey, are you hurt on your head? Idiot. Your husband has beaten you and
you say your dream came true?" I asked her angrily.
"Aunty, I’m fine. Give me your special Almond milk please." she sent my mom in.
"I really liked it when he pped me. Actually, it was so sexy. I love it when he is angry." she whispered
to me!
"What are you? You sure have gone nuts! He made you a mental case with a p? I think your brain is
affected!"
"ACHUUUU!" she rolled her eyes.
"What else do you want me to think? You enjoy his abuse on you? Then why the hell did youe
here? Why don''t you want to let Aakash anna know?"
"Achu, Listen, You all know that I married him just because dad said so right? But that''s not the truth.
He is my school crush, Achu. I love him! I came here because he is taking me for granted. I came here
because he humiliated me in front of people who are not family. I want to make him realize that I''m hurt.
He wille here to pick me up first thing in the morning. He loves me too, Achu. Sometimes shock
treatments work like magic." she said.
"He knows you are here?" I asked her, puzzled.
"No!"
"Then how will hee here?"
"He wille for me, Achu!"
"You sure are nuts. Why did he beat you?"
"Pch because of his ex-girlfriend."
"WHAT?" I clutched my heart.
"Whoa don''t die out of a heart attack."
She told me an abstract of what happened. I would say she is a stupid and her husband is a moron.
But of course, I cannot tell it on her face. She will kill me.
D''s PoV
Achu looks at me like I have grown 2 horns on my head. I know she thinks I''m stupid. She might also
be cursing my hubby. I know everyone will think bad of him. He is a stupid, but he is a man with good
heart. He loves me but he also has some things undone with Smirthi. She uses his naive side to turn
him against me.He hit me not because he heard everything what Smirthi said but because I hit her until
she bleeds. When he gets to know what exactly happened, he sure will regret everything he did.
I want him to get rid of Smirthi. She is a badass girl. I never knew she was capable of something like
this. Rohit is a dead meat. I asked Ravi to do something to him. He should be in jail.
Ravi and his friends caught him somewhere near Gandhipuram and beat him red and blue! Ravi sent
me the video of him getting beaten and confessing everything he did. So, it was Savithri who took that
picture. Wow, Ravi took care of her too. I weirdly felt satisfied when I saw that bast**d getting beaten
up. It felt so good when he pleaded to let go.
Achu was looking at me weirdly!
"Achu, Do you wanna know how I know him in school?"

Scene 1
I was in 8th grade. When one day, a senior boy came to me when I was going to my autorickshaw.
''Excuse me! What is your name sister?'' he asked me and I had that ball of fear in my stomach. I was
with my friends and they were all shocked too. I didn’t know what I was doing. I told him my name and
ran away.
It was a week before sports day. All the sses are dismissed, and everyone should be at the ground
compulsory. I''m not a sports person. I usually sit under a tree during the PET period.
Last year it was our house that won the overall trophy. I hope we get to keep it this year too. But we got
down to 2nd position because red house won in 3 sports. It was because of him. That tall boy in 12th
grade. I saw him doing a long jump. It was our school''s new record. He won in the javelin throw too. I
saw him sprint at the speed of air.
He is so charming. I felt butterflies in my tummy when he looked me in the eye at the high jump area. I
felt weird. He fell down and it hurt me. I checked him for wounds. He stood up and showed me he was
alright. I had my heart thump so loudly at his gesture. Our school is so strict. We are not allowed to talk
to senior boys. I ran away with my friends.
Scene 2
He got the champion trophy at the sports day. I don’t know why, but I felt so happy though his house
got the overall trophy because of him. He came down the stage and looked at our house crowd. I had
those same butterflies in my tummy. I hid behind my friend. But then he caught me. He raised his
eyebrows at me with a beautiful smile!
God, I don’t know what to name that feeling! I don''t know why, but I got angry when my friends said he
was handsome.
Scene 3
He used to stand at the bike stand entrance in lunch and recess breaks. I noticed it and asked my
friends to apany me to the canteen. I liked seeing him. It was the time when the ‘12B’ movie was
released. He was in 12th grade B section. His friends will call out his name and shout 12B whenever I
cross. He will smile at me lovingly with a raised eyebrow. I loved his mannerisms.
One day our teacher caught them shouting 12B and they escaped saying they were talking about the
movie. I got scared when our teacher came. But they managed and ran to their sses.
Scene 4
It was my birthday! I went to school in my new dress. I gave kit-kat to teachers and eirs to all my
friends. I wanted to see him. I wanted him to see me in my new dress. I went out during recess break.
But I couldn’t see him. I felt really sad. I know his motorcycle. Only hees in an Apache motorcycle.
I sneakily went to his vehicle and ced a Kit-Kat in the pouch on the petrol tank. I wished he would
see it. I waited for the day to get over. When the bell rang, I went to the cycle stand with my friends. He
came looking at me. The same weird feeling in my tummy again. I didn’t break eye contact as I usually
do. He was puzzled by my reaction. When he saw my dress, his eyes grew bigger as realization hit
him. He mouthed a Happy Birthday to me. I looked down embarrassed. His eyes held appreciation for
my looks. I loved it and even felt proud of it. I felt like I''m the most beautiful girl in the whole world.
He went and stood near his bike leaning on it. I looked at him and the pouch on his vehicle. He got me.
He hurriedly checked his bike and found the Kit-kat. I felt so shy. I even felt scared. I felt happy. I don’t
exactly know what I felt like. It was a mixed emotion. He smiled at me and ate it looking at me. I was on
cloud nine!
He had a routine of waiting for my auto rickshaw, both morning and evening. He will leave the school
gates only after my auto leaves. I would also look at him when my auto leaves. It’s like bidding bye.
