Chapter 32: 32. At the Exhibition


    Anvi’s PoV


    We reached the ce, but my sis was not in her usual josh. I wanted to cheer her up.


    "Hey D, look there is that big ferry’s wheel. We are going on it." I literally shouted. I could see a glint of


    a smile. She is so easy to make happy. She is a simple girl.


    "We are going on every ride. I heard there is a ride that goes totally upside down. We are all going on


    that." She said. She is all excited again. See, anyone can make my sister happy. Why is that jerk


    looking at me?


    "You look so beautiful when you try and cheer your sister." He said. He is very annoying.


    "Stop it already. My bro is near us. He might hear you."


    "So, me praising your beauty is not a problem. Your bro might hear us is your problem, huh? I see a


    little improvement".


    He winked at me!? This idiot gives me creeps. He makes me look down?!?! What is happening to me?

    OMG she is a beauty! She just made a funny face at me? Gosh I''m falling for her. I was not serious of


    her before. But now?! We are just surfing through the little shops in a line. Anni and Anvi go to almost


    every shop followed by Charu and Shakshi. Me and Aakash Machan are just waiting outside.At the end


    of the shopping they all have a handful of items. We then went for the rides.


    There was a huge queue for every ride. Janu opted for the giant ferry’s wheel and break dance rides.


    They had less waiting. I eyed my anni to give her ce to me. I wanted to sit next to Anvi. My anni


    gave up happily. So, we sat in the ride like me and Anvi, anni and Shakshi, Aakash and his wife,


    Charu.


    Have you ever been on this ride? She was literally crushing me all the ride. Did I feel crushed? Nope! I


    feel like I''m in heaven! She held my hands and we are all shouting like school kids. That was fun.


    When I asked for it once more, she almost burnt me with her eyes! She is so feisty!


    "We should make a statue for the person who found this ride!" I told her while getting down.


    "Shut up! I will kill you!" She said to me in the ears.


    She turned away with a smile. She is Smiling. I knew it. She likes me too. I feel like I''m flying. There


    was this haunted house. My anni and Janu wanted to go. Shakshi said she is out of it. So did Aakash


    and his wife. Finally, we 3 went in and I thought it would be fun watching her all scared. I even


    imagined saving her.


    "You can hold me if you are scared!" I told her. She looked at me as if I got horns. But why?


    I got to know why, when we entered. These 2 girls are not scared at all. They are literallyughing and


    calling for the scary monsters inside. They are even taking selfies.


    "Tried to y hero huh? I''m not a regr heroine, dumby! you have to try hard."


    What did I just hear? Does she want me to try hard for her? Does that mean a green signal?


    "Enough of the rides, girls. Let’s go for food!" Aakash said.


    "oh yes! sugarcane juice first." Said my anni.


    "No chilli bajji first." said Anvi.


    "Chilli bajji, it is!" I said and my anni raised her eyebrows at me.


    "Hehe sugarcane juice can wait anni. We can have it after everything. It will help in digestion you


    know!"


    My anniughed and we had almost everything on the ground. Chilli bajji, cauliflower 65, big appm,


    street side mushrooms, bale poori, paani poori, mas poori and finally sugarcane juice.


    God, never have I ever tried all these at the same time. Shakshi was enjoying theirpany. She is all


    smiling and happy. She even enjoyed that little shopping. I never thought she would like this outing.


    Anvi got a bubble bottle! Seriously? Isn''t that for little kids? She started blowing it and Anni and Shakshi


    popped them. They sure turned into their children phase. But that''s so cute. I wonder how they enjoy


    every minute. Now Anni took turns in blowing and Anvi popping.


    Aakash machan never says no to them. He just lets them do anything and everything and buys them all


    that they show. I could see a beautiful brother-sister bond between them. Anni and Anvi call him ''dai


    anna''. He calls my anni as Shanu and Anvi as ''Shanu da'' . I can literally feel their love for each other


    just by their intimate calls.


    We all had a nice evening. I totally enjoyed Anvi’spany. She is an awesome girl. She is so worried


    about her sister. She is all yful just like my anni. She knows how to cheer everyone up. She is a


    perfect package of mature and kiddish girl. She is everything I need.


    But I know, we have to wait until she finishes college. I so wish that she would pick a college in


    Coimbatore in her counseling!


    Anvi’s PoV


    We had nice fun. When we were about to finish off, I saw the same 3 girls who wereing behind us


    from the second we entered the ground. They are sure looking at that jerk. And he just enjoys the


    attention he is getting. Now that we are leaving, he waved at them. He did that? How dare he do that


    when I''m here? That''s it.


    "Hey I wanna check if that stall has ck hair stics. You guys go and wait at the entrance. I will


    come in a minute." I told everyone and went to the girls.


    "He is taken, fools. Go find someone else." I told them.


    When I turned, there he was. Standing with that known smirk and raised eyebrows. God!


    "Got what you came for? Everyone is waiting." He said with a smirk. I just want to wipe that off of his


    face. Punch him hard!??!


    "Um...Yes. What are you doing here? Came back for them? What? Do you want their numbers?"


    He came so close to me. I gulped down that ball of what I don’t know.


    "I came back for what''s mine. And they already knew that I''m taken, baby." he said looking down at me


    intensely.


    "Baby? You call me that again and I will kill you."


    "I know you like mypany. I also love to extend this time alone with you talking. But Everyone''s


    waiting, baby. You want your bro to find it today?" He asked me. He ispletely enjoying


    embarrassing me.


    "Find what? And who said I like yourpany?"


    "Who should? I know."


    "Huh! Listen. It’s not happening. I like you but "


    "I know, baby. I will wait. Trust me. I can make it happen. Your dad will never know behind the scenes.


    He will only know that my dad asks your hand in marriage with me. He gave your sister in such a tense


    situation. Won''t he give you in a fine moment?"


    "It''s all nice to hear. Let''s see. Please don''t have high hopes. I may fall in love with someone in my new


    college."


    I started so seriously and ended with a wink and ran to the entrance. He smiled goofily at me when he


    came to join us.


    I don’t know why, but D is all sad again and I can see she is suffocating inside. She is controlling her


    cries. But what happened all of a sudden? I wanted to ask her, but we are parting our ways here. I


    should call her once I get home.
