    -Elias'' POV-


    Rose wasn''t in my arms this morning. Of course, we weren''t able to sleep in the same bed since her


    father forbids it, but I still liked having her close. Based on what she saidst night, she seems to long


    for the same. I got up and got dressed, I walked out of my room and made it to the dining room. Before


    opening the door voices could be heard. Everyone was up it seemed, conversing and eating at the


    table.


    Dawson: "Elias you''re right on time, breakfast was just served."


    I went to an empty chair next to Dawson. The three of us other worlders sat on the opposite side of the


    table as Leon and his family as well as Sylphy sat on the other. I looked and watched Leon look


    sweetly down at Luna, then my eyes went to Rose talking to Sylphy.


    Luna: "Oh, that''s right Elias you were never introduced to Princess Sylphy yet, were you..?"


    Elias: "We didn''t formally introduce ourselves to one another. But I heard about her from princess Rose


    after Princess Sylphy popped up out of nowhere on us..."


    Sylphy: "I wouldn''t say I popped up, I was minding my own business when I stumbled upon you... Well,


    you and Rose that is, having your romantic time."


    Rose was drinking some water but after hearing that she started coughing.


    Leon: "What do you mean romantic...?"


    Elias: "It wasn''t anything as..."


    I tried easing the situation but Jessica spoke over me.


    Jessica: "Oooh I want to know too.."


    Dawson: "Yea you didn''t tell us you were seeing her romantically, all you said was that you helped


    rehabilitate her."


    Jessica: "Now that I think about it that sounds like something straight out of a romance novel, the


    dashing man rescues the sweet girl from danger and ends up easing her through recovery. Seeing how


    protective and caring he is she falls for him."


    Jessica was speaking as if in her own world, looking off and dramatically moving her hands. Everyone


    was looking at her after she finished speaking.


    Luna: "That actually sounds like what happened exactly; isn''t it sweet?."


    Elias: "Okay I hope you guys enjoy your breakfast, I''m leaving.."


    Leon: "Sit back down..!"


    I sat instinctually and looked at him.


    Leon: "I don''t keep watch over the two of you and go and do something without my..."


    Luna pinched his side and he looked at her.


    Luna: "Cut them some ck, just look at how they act around each other."


    Leon''s eyes moved towards me, I looked at Rose at the same time her face blushing made me blush


    much the same and I looked down at the te in front of me.


    She moved closer and spoke for only him to hear.


    Luna: "I remember when we were that way. And you were just like Elias back then, being sweet and


    caring. Don''t you wish for our daughter to have such a sweet love story?."


    Leon blushed slightly his eyes closed and he seemed to get a crinkle on his forehead. As if he was


    sternly thinking about something.

    Elias: "Demon King, I know you don''t like it but your daughter and I are a couple, and I agree with you


    that marriage isn''t close by, and I''ll ask you for your blessing when the timees, but I do hope that


    you at least ept our rtionship."


    Leon: "Sigh, fight me."


    His gaze was quite intense.


    Rose/Luna: "What.?."


    Leon: "Sigh, I''ve seen you fight, but I would like to gauge your true strength. When you guys attacked, I


    wouldn''t say we were on an even ying field."


    I didn''t know what he was thinking. A smile started to appear on his face and I was creeped out.


    Luna pulled his shirt.


    Luna: "Leon, are you seriously challenging him.."


    Leon: "I had to fight for our love Luna, defeating the strongest known person was what I had to do.


    Elias will have to do the same if he wishes to stay with my daughter. Of course, if you lose, well, you


    won''t be gaining my approval anytime soon, maybe never."


    Rose: "Elias please don''t give in to his words, you don''t need to.."


    I looked sternly at Rose, my eyes showing the conviction I had.


    Elias: "Rose, I want to do it."


    Rose: "But if you lose then you won''t be able to be with me."


    Dawson: "Yo Elias, are you sure you want to do this.."


    Elias: "Dawson, it''s fine. I''ll worry about my own love life. I don''t want to seem to mean but isn''t Jessica


    waiting for a ring."


    Dawson sat further in the chair and looked at Jessica.


    "Demon King, I truly care for your daughter and I want to see her happiness just as much as you. So if I


    have to defeat you to get your approval then I''ll ept. "


    Leon: "Haha, wow I didn''t expect you to take it so seriously, alright I''ll allow you two to be together.


    Elias/ Rose: "Wait what.?"


    Sylphy: "Haha, I''ve never heard of that before."


    Hugh walked up to Sylphy grabbing her dress and looking up at her. The two were separate from the


    discussion taking ce before them.


    Hugh: "Will I have to fight your father to gain approval, Sylphy.?"


    Sylphy: "I''m not sure, our parents are on friendly terms so we might be politically matched together.


    Though I''d be sweet if you did fight for my hand. So make sure you be just as strong as your


    dad."


    Hugh: "okay, I''ll train all day every day, to be stronger."


    Sylphy: "That''s good motivation but don''t work too hard, I don''t want my future husband to be all


    callous."


    The twoughed and continued to watch the discussion.


    Leon: "I was just seeing how far you''d go, of course, if you want my marriage blessing then you''ll have


    to fight me for real.."


    Luna: "Wait so that was just some test."


    Elias: "So you are alright with me dating your daughter.?"


    Leon: "Yes."

    The tone of the breakfast table was somewhat ruined so we all separated. Of course, after everyone


    left, Leon grabbed my shoulder. We were the only ones left in the room and he looked at me sternly.


    Leon: "Elias, I may have given you my approval for you two to date, court whatever, but if you so much


    as touch my daughter in any way that''s inappropriate, I will neuter you. I want to see a respectful young


    man, and death awaits any man who hurts my daughter."


    Elias: "I understand, I already made it clear to the princess that I want to wait for anything further than a


    kiss. Of course, I do wish to sleep in the same bed sometimes, but I agree that anything sensual is off-


    limits."


    Leon: "Huh, I''m d we agree."
