    After she hung up, she went to join Liam on the couch again.


    Liam turned to her. “Have you told them?”


    “Yeap.”


    Liam rose from the couch. “Let’s go.”


    He promptly headed outside.


    Caprice obediently followed behind him.


    They went into the elevator which took them to the lobby. Then, they walked out of the building.


    His car was already parked by the entrance, and his driver was waiting for him.


    They entered the car.


    The car immediately jerked to motion.


    Meanwhile, there was a Mercedes-Benz parked on the other side of the road.


    Piper and Freya had just entered the car.


    Trey was driving.


    All three of them saw Capriceing out of the building with Liam. Then they all watched as the car the duo entered drive off


    into the distance.


    Trey looked haggard and had dark circles under his eyes. He asked in a conflicted tone, “Is that the Liam Caprice keeps talking


    about?”


    Piper smacked her lips and answered, “Yeah.”


    Even from this distance, she could feel the imposing aura emanating from the man as he walked. She had never felt anything of


    that like from anybody else.


    Who else could it be other than Liam?


    Trey pursed his lips and made no furtherments, then he drove away.


    Meanwhile, as soon as the car left Carter Tech City, Caprice received a text from Sylvia. “Hey, Caprice, our ne justnded in


    Westchester. My phone was turned off when you texted mest night, so | didn’t notice your message. Was there something


    urgent you needed from me?”


    Caprice darted a sneaky nce at the man in the seat next to her, his air dignified and enchanting. She replied, “Hey, Aunt

    After several seconds, she followed up with another text. “By the way, Caprice, | heard you came


    back to Westchester earlier than originally nned. | brought some gifts for you and my kids. Why don’t youe over for a visit


    today?”


    Caprice smiled and announced the good news to Sylvia, “Actually, I’m already on my way to your ce with Liam right now.”


    Sylvia was overjoyed. “Haha! That’s perfect! We''re about to disembark from the ne. Talk to youter.”


    Caprice replied, “Okay.”


    She put away the phone and subtly stole a look to her side. She was going to steal a look at Liam but ended up meeting the


    sharp gaze in his depthless eyes.


    He must have started staring at her at one point.


    She jumped and asked nervously, “Why are you looking at me like that?”


    “Who were you talking to?” Liam asked.


    She smiled and told him, “I was texting your mother just now. They justnded in Westchester, and she mentioned she bought us


    gifts.”


    “I see.”


    They spent the rest of the drive in silence.


    They ended up arriving only several minutes after Sylvia and Odell.


    When the car stopped, Caprice noticed their driver’s car parked outside the entrance. A crew of bodyguards and the driver were


    unloading the luggage from the trunk.


    Sylvia and Odell were inside the courtyard and talking to Flint and Isabel.


    Isabel stood next to Odell and was in the middle of opening a box.


    Flint was massaging Sylvia’s shoulders while going on about something. It seemed like he must have told a joke because Sylvia


    wasughing heartily.


    They were interrupted when Caprice showed up with Liam.
