    Caprice quickly became flustered.


    Awave of embarrassment washed over Freya as well. She took Caprice’s hand and quickly scuttled away from the crowd that


    was viciously scrutinizing them. They fled the scene hastily.


    Caprice nearly tripped over while wading through the crowd.


    At one point, she identally bumped into someone.


    The man she bumped into groaned loudly and quickly grew upset. “What''s wrong with you? Are you blind or something?”


    Caprice turned to the man, ready to apologize. That was when she realized that it was Moses, Keh, Jonathan, and another


    employee at thepany. They looked just as surprised to see her.


    The person she bumped into was Keh. He quickly withdrew the angry intonation in his voice. and greeted her with a


    delightful smile, “What a coincidence to see you here of all ces! It must be fate.”


    Moses shot a look at him, then he stepped forward and asked Caprice in a caring voice, “Were you hurt?”


    “Moses, aren’t you going to check up on me as well? She bumped into me!” Keh groaned.


    Moses ignored him, focusing only on Caprice.


    Caprice smiled and assured him, “Don’t worry, I’m fine.”


    Moses nodded before turning to Freya. “There’s still an hour to go before the city opens. Where are you two going in such a


    hurry? Did something happen?”


    Caprice scowled instinctively when she recalled the unruly crowd back there and their ridiculous, baseless spections.

    “There’s a quiet corner over there. Let’s go for a walk there,” Moses gestured in a certain direction and suggested kindly.


    Caprice nced at Keh and Jonathan.


    Keh wore a yful smile on his face. There was always a little spirit of a troublemaker within him, so it was impossible to


    make out what was on his mind.


    Jonathan was very aloof and was turned in another direction. It did not seem like he was very fond of them.


    Caprice wanted to turn down the offer. Before she could get a word out though, Freya epted the offer for her. She yanked at


    Caprice’s hand and went to join Moses and his group


    Caprice grimaced and followed the group reluctantly. Soon, they found themselves at the edge of


    the woods where there were fewer people crowded around.


    Moses and his group must have been waiting at this spot previously. When Caprice and Freya got there, they noticed a bunch of


    bags strewn over the field of grass.


    Keh rummaged in his bag and found his camera. He then threw its straps around his neck.


    He looked at the entrance of Carter Tech City with excitement beaming in his eyes.


    Jonathan had a selfie stick ready as well.


    Moses turned to Caprice. “Caprice, are you on the guest list?”


    The moment he raised the question, Keh and Jonathan turned to him with a sudden jerk.


    Keh stated crossly, “Moses, we only have four spots, and there are four of us already. Even if you want to bring Caprice into


    the city, we don’t have any extra spots for her.”


    Jonathan shot a look at Caprice and echoed the same sentiment, “That''s right. We''re full.”


    The other person who was with them stayed silent the entire time.


    Moses frowned.


    Before he could respond, Caprice rified, “We''re on the guest list as well. Freya managed to snag


    a spot from a reseller.”
