    Chapter 1835

    Chapter 1835

It was almost ten by the time they left the dessert cafe.

There was only half an hour before the dorm gates would close. Caprice was going to take a taxi back, but Moses suddenly ran

out of the cafe and stopped her.

He offered kindly, “I have a car. Let me send you home.”

Caprice was going to refuse out of politeness, but Freya made the call before she could. “Alright, thanks for the help!”

    Moses smiled warmly. “You''re wee.”

    Caprice pursed her lips.

Moses’ car was parked nearby. He drove a Maserati worth nearly five million, and it was a very impressive car to own especially

at his age. Furthermore, he was the owner of apany.

Lana and Freya both seemed starstruck.

The two of them made sure they got into the car first. They took the back row without any qualms and made Piper squeeze in the

back row with them. They left the passenger seat for Caprice.

Moses drove carefully and sent them back to the dorm in no time.

After Caprice got out of the car, she waved goodbye to Moses before walking back to the dorm with her friends.

“Caprice, you chatted with Moses for so long. What did you two talk about?” Freya wasted no time prying for information.

Lana and Piper listened in as well, eager for gossip.

Caprice knew what they were thinking, so she quickly rified, “We were just talking about hispany. He has this line of

    producting out and it’s...”

She briefly talked about the product.

The three of them seemed utterly baffled by what they were hearing.

“Stop!” Freya suddenly interrupted her and asked brazenly, “He came to give you a sales pitch?”

“He couldn''t afford to sign on any celebrities as his brand ambassador, so he was hoping | would take the offer.”

    Her friends werepletely speechless.

    Caprice rified, “I declined.”

That was enough to shut therm

    up

    for now.

The next morning, Caprice slept until she woke up naturally.

Both Freya and Piper had already gone home while Lana was in the middle of packing her luggage.

Caprice nned to take a thorough shower, then she would ask her parents if they were going to pick her up. Her ns were

foiled when she picked up the phone only to see the message her mother had sent her an hour ago.

“Caprice, I’m so sorry but something urgent came up today, so we don’t have time to pick you up. The good news is that Liam

happens to being to nchester for a business trip, so we troubled him to pick you up since both of you will being from

    Westchester.”

They asked Liam to give her a ride?

    Was he here already?

She quickly texted Liam. “Liam, are you here already?”

    Liam replied shortly after, “Yeah.”

    He was here already?

    Why didn’t he call her?!Content bel0ngs to N?vel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

She scrambled out of bed and took the fastest shower she had taken in her life. Then, she threw on a dress and pped on

some simple makeup before dragging her suitcase out of the dorm.

Liam''s car was parked outside under the shade of a tree. It was rather out of the way, so nobody would notice it without paying

    careful attention.

The driver got out of the car and helped Caprice put the suitcase into the trunk.

    Caprice got into the car.

Liam was wearing a ck suit as always. There was hardly any perceptible emotion on his face. Neither did he seem to have

grown impatient from the wait, nor did he look enthusiastic to see Caprice.

Perhaps he had just arrived as well?

Caprice heaved a sigh of relief. She smiled and thanked him politely, “Liam, thanks for taking the time to pick me up.”

Liam said rather formally, “No trouble at all. It''s along the way anyway.”
