Chapter 1389
Judging from the logo, the caps must have cost a lot.
Sylvia was certain that she had never bought the caps for them before.
The two little rascals posed like rappers in front of the phone.
“Mommy, look at me! Am | cool?” Flint acted cool and tried to steal the spotlight from his sister, but she pushed him away
mercilessly.
Isabel picked up the phone and pointed it at Liam.
Liam also wore the same cap, but it was hanging over his shoulder. His cool face warmed up when he saw his mother through
the phone.
Sylvia smiled. “Issy, Liam, where did you guys get the caps?”
“We got them from your friend!”Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
It was then that Flint pushed himself back into the screen and sandwiched himself in between his brother and sister. His adorable
lips protruded.
Surprised, Sylvia asked, “Mommy''s friend? Who was it?”
It was then Odell moved closer to her and red at the little rascals.
Sylvia did not notice his sharp gaze. She was curious about who had given the kids the caps. It was unusual for anyone to give
them such expensive caps.
Isabel said, “Mommy, we got the caps from Uncle Jacob. He didn’t tell us who the friend was. He just said they were a present
for us. Your friend also gave Great- grandma and Grand -aunt presents too! They got pearl nes!”
Even Madam Carter and Aunt Tonya got gifts?
It was impossible for Jacob to not ask for a name and ept presents from a stranger. Therefore, the only exnation would be
that the person had told Jacob not to reveal their name.
Sylvia instantly thought of Sherry.
Odell’s gaze shifted multiple times before he returned to the side and continued reading his book.
Sylvia chatted with the kids for a while before she ended the call and texted Sherry.
“Sherry, are you back?”
The reply came back instantly.
“How did you know? Did Jacob tell you?”
As expected.
“Jacob didn’t say anything. | found out myself.”
“Babe, you’re damn smart!”
“Where are you now?”
“I''m on my way to Glenchester.”
Sylvia was surprised.
Glenchester?
Sherry knew that John had been looking for her for the past two years. She would be walking right into the tiger’s mouth if she
went to Glenchester.
A quick thoughtter, Sylvia asked, “What are you going to do there? Are you going to see Caprice?”
“Yeah. | want to see her, and | have something to do.”
“What?”
“Some work-rted stuff. Don’t worry. | won''t let that bastard find me. Nothing will happen.”
Sylvia sighed a breath of relief. “Okay. If you need anything, let me know.”
“You have fun.”
“Alright.”
