Chapter 1195

    Chapter 1195

Chapter 1195 John refused to release her hand. He smiled and said, “ I’m fine with the stain.”

Sherry pouted. She looked at the briefcase and wanted to open it, but before she could touch the zipper, it was snatched away.

She red at him, and he did the same to her. “You have until the count to three to get out, or you will being to the office

    with me.”

Sherry sulked in grievance and immediately left the car. She mmed the door shut right after she got out.

John grinned after she left. He opened his briefcase, and the smell of roasted meat filled the car.

His briefcase was stuffed with all sorts of food, including steak wrapped in aluminum paper, fried chicken, and even three cans of

    beer.

Stunned by the amount of food that she had stuffed into the briefcase , John went silent for a moment before he chuckled and

    put it aside.

    “Let''s go.”

    The car drove off.

Along the way, in the passenger seat, Peter subtly

    nced in the rearview mirror.

As a matter of fact, as soon as John opened the briefcase and the smell filled the car, Peter already knew that Sherry must have

    snuck food into the car.

John might have attended the meeting himself for the sake of closing the deal, but in fact, he had set the location in the

restaurant because he wanted to bring Sherry out to eat.

He did not actually have to attend to this particr deal himself since Peter had it all under control.

Some hesitationter, Peter asked in a small voice,“ Master Stockton, why didn’t you let Ms. Fowler take the briefcase with her?”

If the man could set the location of the meeting at a restaurant just because he wanted to bring her out to eat, he would not have

cared if she snuck food into his briefcase.

John’s gaze turned cold. “Since when were you such a nosy person?”

Peter immediately shut his mouth, and the car went quiet.

John leaned back casually. He took his sses off and shut his eyes in exhaustion.

The woman had eaten more than every man at the table and even snuck leftovers in the briefcase forter. She must be trying to

    gorge herself to death.

Sherry got out of the car and strode towards the gate.

However, before she went inside, she realized something and immediately hid in the bushes.

After John’s car left, she came out from the shadows and headed to the main street. She was outside thepound with no one

else around her. She would be an idiot if she did not use this chance to escape.

Unfortunately, the moment she set foot on the road, several bodyguards came out from nowhere and surrounded her.

Sherry was forced to a stop. She wore an awkward smile and said, “Hi, guys... Uh... I''m just having a little night exercise to help

    with my digestion.”

The bodyguards looked at her emotionlessly.

In response , Sherry pouted and reluctantly returned to the gate. The cart driver had gone off duty, and there was no way that he

woulde all the way just to pick up a maid like her, so Sherry was forced to walk all the way inside.

She reached a fork in the pathway. Further ahead would be where the Stocktons lived, and on the left were the quarters for the

    servants.

Just when Sherry wanted to head left, Shannon‘s voiceN?velDrama.Org ? content.

came from the dark. “Where did you and John go?”

She emerged from behind a tree and red at Sherry coldly.

Sherry raised a brow. “Why don''t you take a guess?”

Shannon‘s expression turned grim. “Sherry , you don''t want to do this.”

Sherry scoffed. “Then, why don''t you go ask that bastard?”

    She continued to the left.

    “Stop!” Shannon shouted.

s, Sherry ignored her and continued to the staff quarters.
