    The next morning, Emerence knocked on her door at six in the morning sharp.


    “Sherry! Wake up now! If you''rete , don’t even think about eating breakfast! Did you hear me!? Get up now!” she shouted.


    Despite covering her ears, Sherry could still hear Emerence‘s piercing shout.


    She muttered, “Yeah, got it.”


    She got up and went to the bathroom to clean up.


    Half an hourter, Emerence‘s shout and knocks came from the door again.


    Sherry opened the door and saw Emerence ring at her. “Hurry up!”


    She then strode out of the dorm, and Sherry followed her away.


    There was a cart waiting for her outside the dorm.


    Sherry got in and the cart drove along the pathway to John‘s ce which was next to the building where she


    was previously kept for more than a year.


    The gate was opened with a bodyguard next to it.


    Sherry got out and went inside.


    There was another maid , apparently to serve Shannon, and she wore a frosty look at Sherry upon her arrival.


    Sherry ignored the hostility and went straight into the living room.


    “Stop right there!” The maid stopped her.


    Sherry turned around. “What is it?”


    “The master and his wife are having breakfast. They don''t like to be disturbed. Don''t go in.”


    “Oh...” Sherry walked to her and stood by her side.


    The maid was shocked by herpliance.


    Sherry found the maid‘s reaction baffling. “You told me not to go inside , didn’t you? Why are you looking at me like that?”


    “Uh... Nothing.” The maid averted her gaze.


    She thought that given Sherry and John‘s messy rtionship , Sherry would be angry when she yelled at her, yet she received


    Sherry‘spliance without a hint of anger.


    Sherry knew that the maid was trying to make things difficult for her, but she was not in the mood to cause a


    scene. Moreover, she did not want to see John and Shannon together either because it was an eyesore.


    She stood there for a while until the maid stepped forward. The maid then turned around after a quick pause and said, “You stay


    here. I''ll go in and have a look.”


    Sherry hummed a reply obediently. The maid could not find fault in Sherry‘s reaction, so she nced at her onest time before


    she went inside.


    However, the maid came out less than two minutester and reluctantly said, “Sherry, the master is asking for you.”


    Annoyed, Sherry frowned. “What for?”


    The maid did not expect Sherry to question John‘s demand. She huffed in annoyance, “To serve him, of course!”


    “Aren''t you doing that already?” Sherry crossed her arms. “I‘m not going.” The maid was rendered speechless. She was baffled


    by Sherry‘s refusal to serve John. She assumed that Sherry was having an affair with John and that she should want to have


    more intimate contact with him.


    The maid remained confused. “The master wants you to go in, or you will be punished.” She then went back in.
