Chapter 463 Academy Dungeon

Hmm, there''s also the two next to me and Gerwin Finst. They''re all surprisingly strong for their age, I can tell. William thought to himself as he scanned his nearby ssmates.

Between Odessa, Mika Mirov, and even Bethany Irisa, the cousin of Jonathan Irisa that shared the same eye design, William was impressed with the standards of the kids in their early twenties. It was unclear if he could beat any one of them while suppressed by the Filem Academy Dimension.

If I had all of my Talents it would be a cakewalk. The same would go for if I used the Primary Laws, but... something about fighting handicapped makes me excited.

William turned his head to the right and his lips curled upward. Things were getting interesting!

"What are you daydreaming about, Bathroom Boy?" Mika frowned at William, whose gaze was currently locked onto her bosom. If she wasn''t in ss, she might have considered murder.

"Bathroom Boy?" William regained his thoughts and realized where he was looking but chose not to acknowledge it and simply nced away as if it was nothing much. He was more interested in his new nickname.

This just made Mika angrier. She was already well aware of her...cking proportions... but...

    Ugh! He''s so annoying!

"Tch. You better not do that again." Mika red at William before returning her attention to Professor Tenningbrew. She hated taking sses, but it was a necessary task to improve the Mirov Family''s situation.

"Whatever." William shrugged and did the same. The Professor had just finished up introductions and was exining some rules, of which many weremon sense.

He wrote each rule on the board behind him inrge, neat characters that looked as if they had been printed by a machine instead of drawn by a human. There were really only three big ones while the rest were minor, but the third one in particr stood out the most.

No bullying, harassment, or otherwise towards any other students.

No stealing, vandalism, or Cultivation within the Filem Academy Dimension.

No student may enter the Filem Dimensional Dungeon until they are at least of the third year.

Dimensional Dungeon? William asked the System.

-Request requires 9900 Potential Points. Yes/No?

    Confirm.

-Just as the name implies, this is a Dungeon very simr to those you find in video games. Most Dungeons consist of 1 to 99 floors, where the first floor is the entrance and thest is always a boss room.@@novelbin@@

-If the first floor of the Dungeon is also thest floor, there will be nothing inside but a single treasure. Most Dungeons with only one floor are usually just called Treasure Vaults, and the items found within are extraordinary but can''tpare to what one would find at the end of a 99-floor Dungeon.

How do Dungeons exist? Is it something to do with the ne? William asked.

-Yes and no. Dungeons can form in three ways. The first and rarest method is through natural causes. The ambient Mana in the ne condenses in a unique way and attempts to form a Magical Beast but fails due to some reasons that I won''t bother exining to you today.

-Instead, it condenses into an entire structure made entirely of dense Mana that creates a spawning environment for those creatures.

-The second method is manual formation by Cultivators at the Ster Deity Realm or above. It takes a lot of work, but it''s much like how Riyald created the Trial Tower, usually serving as some sort of inheritance.

-The third and final method is by death, specifically the death of a nar Deity Cultivator or above. At the very moment of their deaths, unbelievable quantities of Mana and Mental energy explode outwards, their life experiences bing a series of trials that challengers would have to ovee.

Are you trying to say that when you''re strong enough, even your own death has an effect on the World? William couldn''t believe what he was hearing.

He could only imagine how strong someone would have to be for a dying thought to be a powerful Dungeon that others could only hope to defeat. Not to mention how much loot must be held inside such a structure.

William''s eyes flickered with immense greed. He was suddenly much more motivated to improve his strength further.

Or... I could just sneak into the Dungeon. I wonder what it''s like in there?

-Are you already nning to break one of the three major rules of the Academy you JUST joined?

    What...? No...

    -You are.

Can you me me? Compared to the Competition, this sounds much more fun and rewarding!

-Rules are still rules, and I wouldn''t say the Cultivator''s Competition is less rewarding. In fact, they''re even offering a nar Chart to whichever Faction wins the Upper Bracket. Even the Middle Bracket gets both a Tier 7 and Tier 8 Runic Manual.

nar Chart? You should know I have no idea what these things are, you''ve been with me the entire time!

-When one reaches the peak of the Realmic Deity Realm, they will need a nar Chart to reach the next Realm. It takes tens of thousands of years to form one naturally, but they''re just giving it out for free.

That good, huh? William once again had a pile of things to do, but he didn''t know what he should do first.

It was like ying a real-time strategy game, where the rest of the map was hidden by fog of war. All William could do was test the waters and see what worked for him best.

He needed to earn Spirit Jades, find a suitable environment to Cultivate, acquire materials to Ascend his other Talents, and track down Master Riyald.

Additionally, the Cultivator''s Competition, Filem Academy Dungeon, and Treymon City Auction House had caught his interest, of which he needed to bnce out his previous three needs.

All else aside, he had once again made Atticus hide with Illusion Magic in his hotel room. It wasn''t safe for the little snake anywhere, so William wanted to get a house of his own at some point. Who knew when someone else would try to target Atticus for his rare bloodline.

Speaking of targeting... I wonder if that Juhi fellow is in this ne.

    -He''s in the Markosh ne.

Damn. I was really hoping to get my revenge on him.

-You should be able to reach the Markosh ne from Slightveil through one of the nar Gates, but they''re very expensive. Most cost over a thousand Spirit Jades for one teleportation, and they''re scheduled monthly to takerge groups all at once.

System, you really know how to pile on the tasks, don''t you?

-I can issue a Quest, if you want.

    With rewards?

    -And penalties, of course.

...I''ll think about it. William didn''t want to start another Quest when the consequences of failure could turn into major setbacks.

"First-year William, are you listening?" Professor Tenningbrew looked at the man with an odd expression.

"Ah, yes!" William smiled and nodded his head.

"Great, I was asking if you''d like to be the first volunteer. I guess that means you''ve epted, so let''s get to it!" the Professor snapped his fingers, darkening the room until even William couldn''t see anything.
