    695. The Shadow Left by the Forbidden One

Time slowly passed as Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme maintained their vignce over the immobilized Chaos Behemoth Kings. Hour after hour, day after day, a total of ten days psed. Finally, the Forbidden Tower shook once more, this time with violent tremors.

Simultaneously, many within the Forbidden Tower received startling news.

"Someone has passed the ninthyer?" they murmured among themselves. "The Forbidden Tower has only nineyers, nine challenges. To pass them all is to receive the tower''s greatest reward—the transformation into a Body of Chaos!"

"Has someone really passed? Was it Supreme Lin, Doomsday Supreme, or did they seed together?"

"It''s unbelievable, truly unbelievable. If someone has really passed through the Forbidden Tower, this must be a first in Chaos..."

The shock was palpable among the observers. They had waited ten days, almost certain that Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme had failed, that it was impossible to conquer the ninthyer of the Forbidden Tower. Yet, against all odds, the pair had seemingly seeded.

At that moment, Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme were still on the ninthyer, exchanging nces filled with intensity and surprise. Before them, a staircase appeared, leading upwards from the ninthyer—a realm no one had ever reached before.

"Does this mean we''ve passed the ninthyer?" Doomsday Supreme''s voice trembled slightly with excitement, unusual for the typicallyposed Invincible Supreme. When had hest felt such a surge of emotion? Yet now, he was genuinely thrilled, struggling to control his emotions.

How long had he been attempting to conquer thisyer? After so many years, trying every conceivable strategy without sess, he had finally achieved victory. This was his moment of triumph—he had truly passed the ninthyer of the Forbidden Tower.

Although Lin Fei was less overtly emotional, he was also pleased. He was intrigued by whaty beyond the ninthyer, especially the potential to transform his body into chaos. He wondered how much this could enhance his Eternal Realm.

"Doomsday Supreme, we must not dy; let us proceed," Lin Fei addressed Doomsday Supreme, who nodded in agreement. Together, they ascended the staircase step by deliberate step, advancing toward theyer above the ninth of the Forbidden Tower. The twin Chaos Behemoth Kings had long since vanished.

One step, two steps, three steps, four steps, five steps...

    "Whoosh."

Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme felt a flicker in their forms as the environment around them transformed. They had arrived at the pinnacle of the Forbidden Tower, beyond the ninthyer. A vista of rity opened before them, no longer shrouded in darkness.

Yet, Lin Fei remained vignt, and so did Doomsday Supreme. Despite both being Invincible Supremes, the Forbidden Tower harbored profound mysteries, left by an entity greater than the Masters of Chaos themselves. Who could say what dangers might lurk within?

    Thus, caution was paramount.

The topmost level of the tower was remarkably spacious, featuring a peculiar pool. This pool emitted an aura of chaos, but it contained more than just chaotic energy; vaguely visible, something green melded within the waters of the pool.@@novelbin@@

Lin Fei did not sense any danger from the pool. On the contrary, his physical form felt an intense longing for it, every particle of his being yearned for the waters as if drawn by a profound allure.

Doomsday Supreme felt the same pull.

The two exchanged nces, and Lin Fei asked, "Doomsday Supreme, do you feel it too?"

"Indeed, I feel it—the desire is unmistakable," confirmed Doomsday Supreme. "What exactly is this pool?"

"Perhaps..." Lin Fei pondered aloud. He had some theories, as did Doomsday Supreme. Both had ascended to this apex with the intention of transforming their bodies into chaos. Now, standing above the ninthyer, they faced only a mysterious pool of water.

Both men harbored unspoken suspicions that perhaps this very pool might facilitate their transformation into the Body of Chaos. Or, that it might indeed be a pool of chaos itself, brimming solely with the essence of chaos.

Yet, neither took immediate action nor did they show any intent to experiment. They continued to wait, certain that some sign would soon manifest.

    "Buzz."

Indeed, their wait was not prolonged. From the pool, a figure began to coalesce, formed entirely of chaotic energy. This figure materialized before Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme. He was a middle-aged man, dressed in splendid robes and wearing a tall cor, embodying regality and ancient wisdom. He nced at Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme, his eyebrows raising slightly as his gaze settled intently on Lin Fei.

He scrutinized Lin Fei from head to toe, his interest apparent. Under his prating gaze, Lin Fei felt as though every part of him, inside and out, was transparent, stripped of any secrecy.

Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme tensed, the presence of this figure suggesting he might be a Master of Chaos, or perhaps even a being superior to such.

"Indeed, it has been a long time since anyone has passed the ninthyer of the Forbidden Tower," the figure spoke. "The time it took you to surpass this level was indeed lengthy. Unexpectedly, it was two who transcended together. Moreover, one among you is a particrly interesting life form. His physical body is not strong, yet he seems to have created a world within himself, embodying that world? It is surprising indeed that someone would cultivate in such a manner and progress to this extent."

As the figure''s words echoed, a storm of shock and awe churned within Lin Fei. Astonishingly, this entity had perceived his very essence with a single nce, seeing him with profound rity—even knowing of his world-embodied form.

"Who exactly are you?" Lin Fei inquired, his voice echoing a mix of curiosity and caution. The figure before them seemed more an enigma than anything.

"Who am I?" The mysterious figure smiled slightly, his voice resonating with the weight of eons. "I have traversed countless worlds, and within this realm of chaos, I left behind the Forbidden Tower. In numerous worlds, I am known as the ''Forbidden One.'' Those who pass my trials and transcend the ninthyer of the Forbidden Tower earn the opportunity to enter the Transformation Pool and attempt to convert into the Body of Chaos.

Of course, while this is a reward, I merely provide the opportunity. Whether you can sessfully transform in the Transformation Pool depends on you. The transformative power within the pool umtes over time; the longer the time, the greater the umted power, and the easier it bes to transform into a Body of Chaos. Until now, in this realm of chaos, you are the first to breach this ce. In some respects, you are indeed fortunate. The umtion of a billion years now benefits you."

"That is all I have to say," the figure concluded. "If you can transform into a Body of Chaos, you might attain the rank of a Master of Chaos. Perhaps, in the future, we might meet again..."

With those final words, the figure known as the ''Forbidden One'' suddenly dispersed, vanishing without a trace. It appeared that this presence was merely an illusion left within the Forbidden Tower, not the actual ''Forbidden One.'' The true ''Forbidden One'' might have long since departed this chaos.

Lin Fei and Doomsday Supreme now fully understood the nature of the Forbidden Tower and the Transformation Pool before them. For a moment, both fell into deep contemtion. Should they venture into this Transformation Pool?
