676. The Chaos Pearl Finally Appears
With a thunderous crash, the Supreme, still reeling and not fully aware, felt an overwhelming force descend upon him. Instantly, he was obliterated.
Lin Fei''s expression remained impassive. He simply swept him up with the eternal light and then unleashed the power of the Eternal Realm. For Lin Fei, dispatching a top-tier Supreme was trivial, not to mention an ordinary one.
Dead.
The Supreme was annihted in full view of all. His life force waspletely extinguished.
"It seems he didn''t have the Chaos Pearl," Lin Fei stated indifferently. If the Supreme had possessed it, it would have appeared when he was destroyed. But now, no Chaos Pearl emerged. Most likely, this Supreme hadn''t obtained it and merely wished to leave the An Realm.
However, he was unaware of how difficult it was now to leave the An Realm. Attempting to leave forcibly had its consequences, and now his demise was just that—a consequence of his rash action.
For a moment, many Supremes fell utterly silent, daring not to speak. In their eyes, Lin Fei and the irvoyant Supreme were exceedingly ruthless. A Supreme was dispatched without a second thought or any mercy.
Moreover, they were indeed capable of ying Supremes, even those at the top tier. Such beings, capable of executing other Supremes, hung like a threatening arrow over the heads of all within the An Realm.
The irvoyant Supreme nodded andmented, "It is indeed a pity he did not have the Chaos Pearl. It seems he knew he could notpete for the Chaos Pearl and thus chose to leave the An Realm early. However, he was restless, ignoring our warnings and needlessly lost his life."
The irvoyant Supreme felt no regret. Another Supreme had perished, but he had in more than one before. And he was well aware that this Supreme would not be thest to attempt an escape from the An Realm. Drastic measures were necessary; otherwise, they might not be able to stop the many more who might try.
As time passed, more Supremes indeed attempted to leave the An Realm, only to encounter the blockade enforced by the irvoyant Supreme and Lin Fei. Those who tried to forcefully escape were promptly in by Lin Fei''s decisive actions. Of course, some Supremes managed to retreat back into the An Realm.
Inside the An Realm, the battle for the Chaos Pearl reached its most intense point.
"Squid Supreme, hand over the Chaos Pearl," demanded one.
"Indeed, Squid Supreme, the Chaos Pearl is beyond your reach," another echoed.
"If you do not surrender it, even as a top-tier Supreme, you are in grave danger."
Within the void of the An Realm, more than ten top-tier Supremes had surrounded Squid Supreme. The reason was simple: the Chaos Pearl had fallen into Squid Supreme''s hands.
Squid Supreme nced around at the dozen Supremes encircling him and even peered into the void where, evidently, more Supremes were lurking.
Although the Chaos Pearl was in his possession, under such circumstances, he could not secure it. However, Squid Supreme had recently learned something intriguing. He suddenly smiled and slowly spoke, "Here we are, fighting to the death, unaware that we''ve been sealed off in the chaos; the entire An Realm is under blockade.
Some are lying in wait, ready to kill anyone who leaves the An Realm. In the end, no matter who ims the Chaos Pearl, escape is unlikely. Whoever holds it might eventually die, and the Chaos Pearl will likely fall into other hands."
Do you want the Chaos Pearl? Very well, let''s take this battle into the chaos itself. Let the victor im the pearl on merit. But let''s not ughter each other here, only to have outsiders benefit from our loss. What do you think?"
Squid Supreme was determined to take a chance. Fighting to the death within the An Realm was pointless if it only benefited others. If they moved the battle into the chaos, he was prepared to pay any price and perhaps there would still be hope to escape with the Chaos Pearl.
Thus, he proposed that they unite to break through the forces lying in wait outside the An Realm. After all, the rumors had spread: the Supremes lying in wait were formidable, even capable of ying top-tier Supremes like Neb Supreme.
These Supremes, questioning their own strength, acknowledged they were not significantly stronger than Neb Supreme, and some even considered themselves weaker. Neb Supreme had fallen; what chance would they have if faced alone? Likely, they would fare no better than him. At this moment, these Supremes truly wavered.
They were all too aware of the proverb: when the snipe and the m grapple, it is the fisherman who reap the benefits. Now, they were the snipe and the m, and the Supremes waiting outside the An Realm were the fishermen. No one wanted their hard-earned Chaos Pearl to end up benefiting someone else.
"Heh, Squid Supreme, you still wish to struggle," taunted one. "Once back in the chaos, who knows what tricks you might have up your sleeve? What if you escape? The vastness of the chaos is unfathomable. Who could find you there?
"I think it''s best if you hand over the Chaos Pearl right here. Without the Chaos Pearl, if you still want to fight those outside the An Realm to the death, we won''t stop you." Another Supreme spoke up, thwarting Squid Supreme''s wishes.
"Short-sighted fools!" Squid Supreme sneered back. "Even if I gave you the Chaos Pearl, could you truly protect it?"
He found these Supremes to be obstinately foolish. They knew the dangers within the chaos, yet they clung to the Chaos Pearl with desperation.
Of course, Squid Supreme was no different. He too knew the perils of the chaos yet still clung to the Chaos Pearl, unwilling to relinquish it.
"Squid Supreme, all this talk is useless," another insisted. "Hand over the Chaos Pearl!"
The Supremes began to close in on Squid Supreme step by step.
"Damn you, you''re forcing my hand!" Squid Supreme''s eyes shed coldly. He still had a trump card he had not yed, ast resort he was reluctant to use unless absolutely necessary. Once revealed, he would be left without any ace up his sleeve, which was exceedingly risky, especially under the current circumstances.
Outside the An Realm, Supremes continued to lie in wait. Without a trump card, Squid Supreme was uncertain if he could break through the blockade enforced by those Supremes.n/?/vel/b//jn dot c//om
But now, desperate times called for desperate measures. If he didn''t y his ace, he wouldn''t even get past this challenge, let alone preserve the Chaos Pearl for the future.
"Annihtion Void!"
With gritted teeth, Squid Supreme unleashed a dark object. As soon as it appeared, it formed a pitch-ck void, emanating a sinister and terrifying aura. The moment this void materialized, the fabric of the An Realm''s space began to copse.
With a thunderous rumble, the void imploded. Caught off guard, the Supremes felt a chilling stiffness, as if the dark void was pulling them in, attempting to devour all present.
However, Squid Supreme seemed prepared. Unlike the others, he wasn''t drawn toward the ck hole. Instead, he transformed into a streak of light, darting toward the chaos, making his escape from the An Realm.
As this scene unfolded, the other Supremes realized what was happening. Squid Supreme was trying to flee!
"Damn it, that''s an Annihtion Void! It can obliterate realms!" one eximed.
"An Annihtion Void can copse a realm, eventually consuming it and forming a terrifying ck hole that devours everything around," another exined.
"How did Squid Supreme get his hands on an Annihtion Void?" someone wondered.
"We can''t let the Annihtion Void consume us. Fortunately, this is just the nascent form of the void; we can still escape."
"Chase after Squid Supreme!"
With that, the Supremes quickly overcame their initial shock and sprang into action. They freed themselves from the grasp of the Annihtion Void and simrly flew out of the An Realm, pursuing Squid Supreme.
