    The word ‘dungeon’ in the game was derived from a tabletop role-ying game ‘Dungeons & Dragons’. As the game evolved, in most cases, the word ‘dungeon’ represented a private zone or a parallel space where one could explore, adventure, orplete missions.


    No one but you and your teammates could enter this private zone.


    There weren’t multiple servers or channels in the system version of the game, but Hendon Myre was asrge as any city in the real world. The adventurers walking out from the spawn ce didn’t crowd the city. In fact, if not for the many pedestrians and NPCs (non-yable characters) including adventurers and merchants who were thronging in the streets, the yers would find this huge city quite empty and cold.


    Also, the yers had to travel in horse-drawn carriages between ces. If they walked, they wouldn’t be able to finish a few simple quests that required running around even if they had eight hours.


    Besides the main storyline and quests, the various side story quests weren’t limited to those few NPCs; more NPCs could issue quests. Perhaps the pedestrians walking on the streets or residents living in the houses in the alleys might give them quests.


    For the adventurers, despite their different goals and ambitions, their way of surviving was toplete quests and make money.


    For Luo Piaoling and other new yers who had just arrived at the city, the first ce that they had an encounter with was Seria’s hotel. The new adventurers entered the elegant and bright hotel in twos and threes.

    The first thing that they saw was a snow-white grand hall with a western-style floor paved in sapphire blue tiles. Also, exquisite magic chandeliers dangling from the ceiling made the ce look elegant andfortable.


    On one side was a corridor leading to the second floor. The hotel wasn’t huge but bright; the bright yellow curtains were pulled to the sides, letting in radiant sunshine. People felt warm and cozy bathed in the sun.


    Luo Piaoling saw several familiar faces who were cultivators of the Deserted Sea Realm that he had seen in the Martial Dao Exchange.


    “Ugh? Isn’t the hotel owner the girl who we encountered in the forest?” He saw two figures walking into the hotel.


    “Hello. My name’s Seria.” He seemed to hear the silver-haired elven girl friendly greet the adventurers.
