TL: Etude


    A Transcender! Ye Tian could hardly believe it. If the knowledge in this book were true, then the author must be a Transcender or at least know one. Otherwise, there was no way they could have written such detailed information about Transcenders.


    Of course, there was also the possibility that the author had made everything up, purely from imagination. However, Ye Tian was certain that the owner of this manor had to be an incredibly powerful being. Even if they were not a Transcender, they were a heaven-defying Supreme.


    Such a being would never collect a book full of fabricated information about Transcenders. Therefore, it was highly likely that this book was real and perhaps even written by a Transcender.

    Ye Tian had explored most of the manor except for a few ces. Only one ce remained unexplored: an ancient well located at the center of the manor.


    This well looked very ordinary, much like the ancient wells found in many homes. However, nothing here could be ordinary.


    So Ye Tian returned to the well, ready to investigate its depths. He was unsure what he would find inside. His divine sense could not prate the well, indicating that it might be dangerous or contain a great opportunity.


    Ye Tian entered the well. In an instant, streams of light shed before his eyes. He found himself in a strange space with ake. Theke did not contain ordinary water but water that emitted a faint glow.Ye Tian reached out and touched the water, feeling it for a moment. Suddenly, a strange energy flowed into his hand. This energy slowly tempered his hand, but Ye Tian did not feel any increase in his strength.


    After a while, Ye Tian withdrew his hand and examined it carefully.


    “Strange! There’s no change at all!” he thought, puzzled.


    Although his hand had been wrapped in strange energy and constantly tempered, there should have been some change given the amount of energy consumed. Yet, there was no visible difference.


    He continued testing his hand and eventually discovered the change. When he tested the power of the Dao, he found that the power of the Chaos Daobined with his hand could now exert more formidable strength. It seemed to be more in harmony with the power of the Chaos Dao than before.


    “Could this water enhance the body’spatibility with the Dao’s power?” Ye Tian thought, astonished.


    If that were true, the value of this water would be immeasurable.


    Immediately, Ye Tian began collecting the water. After gathering arge quantity, he immersed himselfpletely in theke, allowing the strange energy in the water to continually temper his body. Simultaneously, Ye Tian meditated on the Chaos Dao.


    He was amazed to find that hisprehension of the Chaos Dao had elerated significantly. Moreover, his eyes seemed to perceive the Dao’s trajectory, albeit faintly. This proved that his eyes had undergone a fundamental change due to the water. With enough of this water’s tempering, his eyes might eventually observe the Chaos Dao’s trajectory more clearly.


    Excitement surged through Ye Tian.


    As time passed, his body continued to be tempered by the strange water, bing increasingly harmonious with the Chaos Dao’s power. The changes in his eyes grew more profound.


    Boom!!! An explosion echoed from outside.


    “Someone’sing,” Ye Tian thought to himself.


    He knew he couldn’t continue cultivating. If he did and someone arrived, this ce would be exposed. So, he collected the remaining water and stored it in the Ancient Chaos Realm.


    Immediately, Ye Tian flew out of the ancient well space. Upon emerging, he saw an Immortal Race expert not far away. This expert also saw Ye Tian.


    “True Monarch of Ten Thousand Laws from the Human Race!” The Immortal Race expert looked excited upon seeing Ye Tian.


    Ye Tian felt a slight sense of danger upon seeing this Immortal Race expert. Although it was just a hint of danger, it indicated that this expert was on apletely different levelpared to the peak Gxy level Immortal Race experts he had encountered before.


    “This Immortal Race expert is very powerful!” Ye Tian thought.


    “True Monarch of Ten Thousand Laws, you probably don’t know me. I’ve lived for many years and am considered quite ancient even within the Immortal Race. Though I am at the peak of the Gxy level, I’ve reached the fourth stage of life and have eternal life.N?v(el)B\\jnn


    I thought I was the only lonely one in the universe, but it seems another heaven-defying one has been born. If you were a member of the Immortal Race, we could explore the Dao together and pursue the path of the Transcender. Unfortunately, you’re a member of the Human Race, destined to be our enemy! I have a mission to kill you, but I didn’t expect to find you so soon!” The Immortal Race expert spoke confidently.


    Upon hearing his words, Ye Tian had some guesses about his identity.


    “You’re the first one to pass through the Ten Tribtions Region of the Supreme Mountain with Emperor-level cultivation!” Ye Tian eximed in surprise.


    “That’s right, it’s me!” The Immortal Race expert replied proudly. “I was the first in the universe to pass through the Ten Tribtions Region of the Supreme Mountain with Emperor-level cultivation. I also broke the shackles at the Emperor level, bing a Supreme Prince and embarking on the heaven-defying path.”


    “There were rumors that you died under the tribtion. I didn’t expect you to still be alive. I’m even more surprised that you are only at the peak of the Gxy level now,” Ye Tian said, astonished.


    “Of course, I didn’t die under the tribtion; that was a rumor spread by the Immortal Race!” the Immortal Race expert exined. “Although my strength is formidable, I still don’t dare to challenge the Universal God level. When I reached the Gxy level, the tribtion almost killed me. If I tried to reach the Universal God level, the tribtion would be too terrifying.
