Workingte again? Kurt shook his head.
Im not certain.
It seems the department head assigned her a new task.
Shall we go see? Kyson gave him a look, and Kurt instantly got the hint.
He hurried inside the elevator, pressed the button for the 15th floor, and then stepped out of it to let Kyson enter.
20, 19, 18… As the elevator descended, Kurt breathed a sigh of relief.
He realized he had overstepped. Why meddle in the bosss ns to visit his wife? Soon, the elevator reached the 15th floor.
The logistics department upied the entire floor.
Since it was after work hours, the hallway lights were dimmed.
Through the frosted ss, Kyson could see the light at Dulcies desk and silently made his way inside.
From behind, her silhouette was prominent.
Her long hair flowed down her back, shimmering under the deskmp.
Strands tucked behind her ears highlighted her delicate earlobes.
This doesnt look right… She was biting on her pen, her brow furrowed as she revised the proposal. She had been at it all afternoon, tweaking and changing, yet she still hadnt settled on a satisfactory outline.
After entering some new ideas, Dulcie finally allowed herself a moment to rx and stretched her arms.
Unexpectedly, she brushed against a warm chest, quickly retracting her hand in shock.
Mr.
Shaw… what are you doing here? When had he arrived? His silent approach was unnerving.
Dulcies heart pounded, and anxiety filled her eyes.
Kyson nced at herputer screen and sneered. Is this the proposal you n to submit? Kysons eyes conveyed disapproval, causing Dulcie to flush with embarrassment.
This was the result of her entire afternoons work.
She reached out to shield her screen and stammered, Um… Im not… not finished yet.
This is just a draft.
Her voicecked confidence.
nning was not her strength, but fortunately, Kourtney had given her half a month to refine it.
Since she hadnt finished yet, Kyson didnt want to crush her spirit.
nning to camp out at the office tonight?
