    Arissa rubbed Gavin’s head and relented as she did not want to put her son in a dilemma.

    shut the door and left. She had to take a moment to calm herself down before getting dressed.

    Arissa pped her cheeks gently before making her way toward her son’s room.


    Meanwhile, Gavin was sitting on the bed with his phone, looking as if he was about to call someone.

    “Who are you calling, Gav?”


    “Mommy, I want to call my brothers!”

    “They might be sleeping already. Let Mommy apany you while you try to fall asleep, all right?”

    Upon seeing that, Arissa snuggled up in bed with the little boy and gave him a tight hug.


    She told Gavin some bedtime stories. Although he had already heard all of the stories before, he was
