Chapter 831 Natural laws III

    831 Naturalws III

Kyle lost a significant part of himself in this gray world and felt that the power of time he had gained through all this was nothingpared to what he had lost.

    "It''s meaningless. Time."

In the heart of the breaking world, a tiny green leaf emerged. It sprouted hesitantly, its delicate edges trembling as if unsure of its ce in this destendscape. Slowly, it unfurled, pushing against the weight of the surrounding nkness. The leaf grew, its vibrant green contrasting sharply with the crumbling surroundings.

As moments passed, the tiny leaf transformed into a small nt, its roots reaching deep into the unseen earth. Its stem thickened and rose, green leaves multiplying and spreading outward. With each second, the nt grewrger, defying the emptiness that surrounded it.

Soon, it became a massive tree, its trunk sturdy and strong, adorned with a canopy of lush, vibrant leaves. The tree stood tall and majestic, a symbol of vitality.

Kyle watched this breathtaking transformation unfold before him.

He knew he could speak, but he didn''t disrupt the moment—a moment that felt like a rebirth in a crumbling world.

However, the very same tree began to age, wither, and disappear into the passage of time, never to be seen again.

With the tree''s extinction, knowledge that didn''t belong to him entered his mind—all the knowledge rted to thew of time.

Heprehended arge part of it, but there was still much he couldn''t grasp. @@novelbin@@

    "It''s meaningless but powerful. Time."

He muttered and vited the first rule he was not supposed to break as a Celestial, ording to the knowledge he had just received: traversing the fabric of time.

He saw everything—his past and his present. He tried but couldn''t foresee his own future for some reason. That''s why he wondered if he could glimpse the future of another if he advanced, just like Azazeal, who calcted things on his fingers.

    "What a pity."

He saw himself, his parents, his brothers, his days in the Royal Academy, the time he met Bia, how he made friends, and how he met Yue. Just as Azazeal had mentioned, he couldn''t interfere with anything that had happened; he was standing at a boundary he couldn''t cross until a certain point.

Nevertheless, this was enough to jog his memory that had faded in the gray world.

"If I can only watch and can''t break the fabric of time to step into the past for more than just a few years, how can he go back thousands of years to eliminate Nathaniel and Lilith with his own hands? He can''t. That wasn''t a lie. Now I believe."

He muttered. Everything seemed fine. But then he witnessed everything go awry. Alec signed the dark contract and fought them all. He stood on the dark side.

"Hmmm? This isn''t what happened. I''m sure of it. Or have I truly lost my mind?"

He narrowed his eyes. Enthrall. The fourth shadow general controlled Alecpletely. That''s when Kyle recalled something.

    "Ah... right!"

There was a time, the first time he entered Luminara and saw the massive Tree of Fate. It was the day he killed cia.

Nine had left a note for him in that elven woman''s storage ring, which stated:

[Haha, it''s Nine, your one and only best friend... I am taking what you asked me to. You lucky bastard, never forget this; you must inform me in a timely manner that I needed to steal it to save my life.]

Nine was the one who discovered the dark contract Alec signed so they could destroy it in time. And the future changed.

At that moment, Kyle hadn''t considered the note and had even forgotten about it. Now, as he jogged through his memories and relived each moment, he recalled it.

"It seems I interfered. But how?"

He muttered with a frown. He could break the barrier of time before him and speak to people from the past, but only one or two years back. Even that was harmful for him, and he couldn''t stay for long; otherwise, his body would shatter.

"I can''t lose my body again. It''s a bothersome process to construct a new one. There must be a way for me to talk with Nine without harming myself..."

His mind flickered with many memories of the past, and then he recalled that Nine had the ability to read another''s fate. That could be helpful, but he first had to break through the domain of spiritual energy that Nine''s ability created to perceive another fate.

"I have to wait for the perfect time when he reads my fate. He can''t read it since it was nk... but I can send him information on how to locate the dark contracts."

Kyle reviewed everything in his mind, recalling the time he wandered the demons''. After gathering all the knowledge he possessed, he sessfully transmitted it to Nine when thetter attempted to read his fate on the blue, following their victory in the first war against Diora and Hay from the dark side. He then focused hisw of time on Nine and followed him, but as he watched, the man died.

    "Why so easily?"

He muttered, a dark aura surrounding him. He had failed the first time, so he adjusted the information slightly. He instructed Nine on how to steal the artifact from cia''s storage ring more cautiously and infiltrate the demon. Yet he failed once again when Ceano discovered him.

Kyle clenched his teeth but then exhaled, his mind working to devise a wless n. This time, he couldn''t afford to fail.

He studied the two previous timelines carefully when Nine failed and identified the mistakes. First, Nine was weakerpared to cia, so he couldn''t be detected while stealing her teleportation artifact. Second, Nine had to leave the demon before Ceano, who was even stronger than cia, reached him in that chamber which housed the countless dark contracts.

"Alright... this time he will seed."

At the right moment, he tried to enter the domain created by Nine''s spiritual gaze to read his fate in the past. He failed to create an opening in the domain the first time, as this was the third time he was trying this, and he knew his real body lying in the Sea was badly harmed as well. However, luckily, he tore through the barrier the second time and stepped into the darkness.

Instantly, he changed the form of his consciousness, and luxurious clothing manifested on his form, allowing him to appear human instead of a form of light.

Nine''s eyes widened, and he staggered backward as he stared at the pair of cold, emotionless eyes gazing at him. They were familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time.

Kyle''s face remained expressionless as he opened his mouth.

"I have been waiting for you."

Surprise (?^???^?)?? A fragment of the past. (It was so hard to remember Diora, Hay, and cia''s names! (No, I actually recalled the names but forgot the right spelling, haha.) I nearly wrote Haylee instead of Hay (?`?⌒?′?) But ultimately, all done sessfully. ^^ Enjoy.
