Roseanne frowned. That couldn''t be right. She had carefully selected each one, and they all looked incredibly sweet. He probably just had bad luck and picked a sour one.
Owen and Corley picked tworge baskets full, and in the end, gave them all to Roseanne. After packing the strawberries into bags, the three of them started walking back. They found Carlson and the old woman squatting by a patch of earth nearby, talking about something.
As they got closer, they saw Carlson holding a small hoe, tilling the soil as he spoke.
