Chapter 1495 Not a Secret Realm...?


    Entering the still pristine ancient tower, Chu Yang didn''t take long to search through it.


    However, even though the ancient tower waspletely intact and didn''t seem to have suffered any damage on the outside, there was nothing left inside of the tower for him to take. Not even a single book that should have been stored on one of the several empty bookshelves lining the interior walls of the tower had managed to survive to this day.


    Not just that, but there wasn''t any teleportation formation around like there had been inside of the barely standing tower that had now disappeared beneath the dark waters below.


    From this alone, it was obvious that the tower he had first explored should have been special, as it connected directly to the ancient city on the other side of the Dead Spirit Canyon. Maybe that was also the reason why the state of that ancient tower had been far worse than the one he was currently inside of, as other people who hade before him and explored the secret realm would have prioritized exploring the more important ancient tower first.


    "But… Even if this ancient tower doesn''t have any treasures left inside of it, it might not be the same for the other ancient towers…" Muttering this to himself as he stepped out of the pristine ancient tower and nced over towards another bridge of light connecting to another tower along the edge of the Dead Spirit Canyon, Chu Yang didn''t n on giving up on finding something valuable inside these towers.


    After all, considering that he had no way to leave the floating inds at the moment due to the dark waters flooding the entire secret realm below him, Chu Yang decided to spend his time exploring what he could while he waited for the dark waters to hopefully retreat back into their previous boundaries.


    Of course, part of him also hoped that he would be able to find another ancient city floating in the air or perhaps find a path to the one already floating on the other side of the Dead Spirit Canyon, as that would provide him with a quick way out of the secret realm that didn''t involve him having to risk his life going down into the dark waters or having to wait for an unknown period of time before the dark waters receded.


    Like this, Chu Yang soon began the process of moving from ind to ind, as he began systematically exploring the ancient towers that were connected to each other through barely visible light bridges.


    However, much like the first pristine ancient tower he searched through, the rest of the ancient towers were simrly empty without anything of value inside of them.


    The only thing of value he managed to find were a few spirit stones that had somehow managed to survive in a corner of one of the towers and a few pieces of spirit metal that had been left forgotten behind one of the bookshelves in another tower.


    Outside of this, he found nothing more than clean empty towers, like someone had deliberatelye in and cleaned up the interior of these towers before he had shown up. Making him believe that someone might have traveled along the same path he was at the moment in the past. Only, the ones who hade before him hadpletely cleaned up these ancient towers without leaving anything behind.


    What little was left behind was simply because the other party hadn''t looked around the ce properly or maybe because it was deemed worthless to waste space inside an interspatial ring whenpared to the other things that might have been present inside these ancient towers in the past.


    Luckily, this streak of bad luck and not finding anything of value soon took a turn, as Chu Yang found himself at the endpoint of the line of towers following the edge of the Dead Spirit Canyon without any other towers for him to move to next. n/?/vel/b//in dot c//om


    The reason why this was the end of his bad luck was rather simple, as this ancient tower was not only farrger than the ones that hade before, but it was also fitted with over a dozen still working teleportation formations that seemed to connect to other parts of the secret realm.


    In a sense, therge ancient tower could be considered a central hub for travel throughout the secret realm. Not just because of the teleportation formations, but also because Chu Yang noticed a very clear gate leading out of the secret realm in the middle of therge ancient tower.


    Different from the other gates leading out of the secret realm, this was clearly considered one of the more important locations, as he soon realized that there were countless still working formations in ce around the gate leading out of the secret realm. Preventing him from even getting anywhere close to the gate.


    At the very least, the different teleportation formations inside of therge ancient tower did not seem to have these kinds of formations in ce and allowed him to use them with no problems.


    Even then, finding a way out of the secret realm, but being unable to use it, Chu Yang could not help feeling a bit reluctant to just leave the ce behind and thus first decided to search through therger ancient tower for a way to get through the formations blocking him from using the gate.


    As for the reason why he didn''t try to force his way through the formations with force? That was rather simple, as he had clearly sensed that the strength of the formations in ce around the gate leading out of the secret realm had clearly far surpassed anything he could handle with his current cultivation realm.


    Not to mention him being able to break those formations, he feared that if he did anything to attack them, it might trigger some kind of killing formations to take action, something that he wanted to avoid at all costs given the sheer strength he could sense from these formations far surpassed even that of the Dao Seed Realm turtle demon beast he had seen during hisst trip to this secret realm.


    In the end, after searching through therger ancient tower, he did find some intact scrolls and books.


    The only problem was that these scrolls and books were written in anguage that he couldn''t understand. Going by what he had learnt from his master andparing them to some texts shown by his master, they should have been written in the ancientnguage that came before the one currently used across the continent.


    Even if he wanted to understand what was written inside of these books, he had no way to do so, as he hadn''t really found any reason to try and study the ancientnguage in the past. Having focused his full attention on increasing his own strength.

    With that in mind, he could only ce these books and scrolls into his interspatial ring and hand them over to his master after returning to the sect. Having him trante them for him, as his master did seem to at least have some understanding of this ancientnguage.


    However, outside of these ancient texts and books that had been left behind, he also ended up finding a scroll written in thenguage that he was familiar with at the top floor of the ancient tower.


    The main problem with this scroll was the fact that it had clearly not been left behind by the once owners of the ancient tower, but instead by someone who hade before him and explored this ancient secret realm.


    Almost certainly the same who had so meticulously cleaned up the ancient towers he had passed through earlier to get here…


    Even then, Chu Yang didn''t decide to throw away this scroll out of spite of leaving nothing for ateer like himself, but instead decided to carefully read through.


    As a result, he discovered that the information in the scroll was actually far more useful than he had first expected.


    Not only did it inform him that this secret realm was not a secret realm, but instead a naturally urring mystic realm, but it also informed him that this mystic realm was under the Mirage Sect and his current location inside of this mystic realm was one of the outer regions of said mystic realm.


    Mirage Sect… Mystic Realm… Is it perhaps the same one I visited in the past with master and Qi Ying?


    Learning about this, Chu Yang almost instantly realized that the secret realm- or mystic realm that he currently found himself inside of might actually be the same one he had entered with his master and senior sister in the past. Making him realize just how massive the mystic realm was if the area he was in at the moment was only considered a small corner of therger mystic realm.
