Chapter 1430

Fermin looked away, his ears turning red. "You look better than before."

"What do you mean by that?" Debra huffed.

    "Keep your voice down."

    "No way."

    "I''m out of here."

    Jordan quickly left the room.

Erica patted her shoulder. "Alright, it''s about time. Let''s head downstairs."

Debra pouted but soon realized she had a bigger problem.

    "I can''t walk."

"Huh? You''ve never worn heels before?"

Debra shook her head. She had focused on her studies and had no time for high heels.

    "What should I do?"

"Just don''t run around like you''re wearing sneakers, okay?"

    ...

Downstairs, Juan arrived right on time.

Most of the important guests were already there, including his parents, who were chatting with Gael.

"Juan,e here," udia called, waving him over.

She said, "This is my son, Juan, and this is Mr. Frazier, the CEO of the Frazier Group."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Fraizer," Juan said, shaking hands with him.

"Likewise," Gael replied, impressed. "I''ve heard things about you. Your father is nning to retire early and hand over thepany. Looks like Seamar City will have another capable young leader."

Juan replied modestly. "I''m just helping my dad with somepany affairs."

Gaelughed, "You''re quite mature for your age. Unlike my daughter, who spends all day in bed, doing nothing useful."

Jeffrey chuckled, "Debra was quite the talk of the town when she was born. I even held her once. Everyone said she had a blessed life ahead of her even if she didn''t want to run thepany."

"I just want her to be happy," Gael replied. "Time flies. She''ll be an adult soon, graduating and getting engaged."

"With Andrew, right? They make a great pair."

"Andrew said he''ll respect her wishes if she wants to wait or finds someone else,

but I think she can''t live without him. She follows him like a shadow."

Juan listened with growing agitation. He had work to do, and his parents were always off on dates, leaving him to pick up the ck. He nced at his watch, eager for the banquet to end.

Just then, the lights dimmed, and everyone''s attention turned to the staircase.
