Debra came out of the study with the document and saw Ivan standing downstairs, looking lost.
"Ivan, you can start preparing lunch," she ordered. "But we always use fresh ingredients. You''ll need to drive to the farmer''s market three kilometers away for vegetables, then the seafood market 3.8 kilometers away, and finally the butcher five kilometers away for meat. Thene back and cook."
"Oh, and after lunch, you''ll have half an hour to clean up and do the dishes," she continued. "Then prepare our afternoon tea. At three, go buy ingredients for dinner. After dinner, you''ll have an hour to clean up, prepare hot water for everyone, and heat the milk for bedtime. That should take you to around ten, which is when you''ll need to start prepping for tomorrow''s breakfast. The breakfast here consists of 12 dishes, so it might be a bitbor-intensive. You''ll need to wake up at four to start preparing. I suggest you go to bed at ten."
Ivan''s brows furrowed. They had so many servants, but Debra piled all the work on him. He suspected that she was trying to give him a hard time.
Debra saw his expression and added, "If you don''t think you can handle it, you can leave. Mypany won''t need you, and our deal is off the table."
Ivan took a deep breath. "I can do it."
"Good. Get started," Debra said, turning back to her room.
Upstairs, two heads poked out from behind a wall. Liza and Gand had no idea who the kid came from, but Debra was clearly making things difficult for him.
"I thought we didn''t eat breakfast," Liza whispered.
"We''re usually still sleeping," Gand agreed, stroking his chin.
The whole thing was suspicious, and he decided to tell Juan about it.
As he fished out his phone and searched for the number, Liza asked, "Who are you calling?"
Gand tried to hide his phone, but Liza had seen Juan''s name on the screen.
"Why do you have Juan''s number? What are you calling him for?" she asked.
"It''s business. Don''t mention this anyone. Or else..." He made a

"Come on. Expect something good for her. She is fine."
