Chapter 4116 Mission Failed?


    It was as Realm Master Arata Sunborn predicted.


    Soaren and the others had already left the Golden Crow Lower Realm within hours. When Illumina prepared her clone, it was already headed toward that mountain peak before they could reach the Goldsun n''s settlement. However, it wasn''t the only one. There were multiple clones spread out in different directions of the Golden Crow Lower Realm in order to confuse them.


    As soon as the clone was done with dying the Golden Crow Realm Master, the other clones positioned in between transferred the information, allowing Illumina to know what happened. She ryed it to Soaren.


    Soaren was standing near the front of the flying ship as they traversed the empty space. They were on their way back to the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm.


    "I see. So he gave little to no chase…"


    "Is Realm Master Arata Sunborn secretly aiding us?" Illumina asked.


    She was prepared for a gruesome battle. However, such a thing didn''t happen, making her question the sanity of Realm Master Arata Sunborn.


    "I can''t say for sure." Soaren shook his head, "Rumors say that we share the same grandfather, but I''ve never seen my grandfather, who ascended about four hundred thousand years ago. My father and mother married prettyte, and I was like the hundred and twenty-fifth child my father had. They stayed in the Golden Crow n in the First Haven World for a long time but eventually ascended. All of us were magical beasts, but Arata Sunborn is a fey. This means that we don''t share the same father and mother. But still, he should be my cousin since we''re connected through her grandfather- I think."


    Soaren thought hard about forming a family chart in his head, but he just couldn''t imagine it. In the end, he shrugged.


    First cousin or half-step supreme cousin, it was all the same to him.


    He had too many siblings, most of them feys and a few beasts. He had seen many of them die in battlefields and treasure sites. Such was the cultivation world. He had even killed a few when they tried to usurp the Patriarch''s seat from him. If it wasn''t for his foresight in winning the trials, he wouldn''t have been able to be the Patriarch of the Goldsun Family.


    "So, where''s your father and mother?" Illumina raised her brows, wondering if they were saved or taken back to the Sunborn n.


    "I''m not sure?" Soaren appeared doubtful, "I was busy protecting my Goldsun n before I got arrested and almost executed. All I managed to hear was that they had gone to the Upper Realms to find Grandfather and the others who went with him. Their life and death is unknown. I couldn''t be bothered to go search for them when we''re fighting tooth and nail to secure a ce for ourselves first. Fortunately, we managed to retrieve my people."


    His expression rxed. Every one of his loved ones is still alive. There was no better news than that.


    He couldn''t tell how many times he nned on secretly leaving the Second Void Dust Sanctuary toe here and save his family. However, how could he get past Fairy Ste or Davis? That was nearly impossible, so he had no choice but to endure and wait for the opportune moment.


    And as he held faith in Davis''s ability to n out matters, this rescue mission worked like a charm. Not only did they not have to face an rming number of Heaven''s Warriors, but they practically escaped unscathed because their attention was all on the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm and its surroundings.


    The fact that the Elemental Dimension appeared as a secret realm also allowed them to breathe freely. It was unexpected that Aric Stormsong would be here, but they had subdued him nheless.


    "What the hell? There were no battles. Talk about a letdown…" King harrumphed.


    Soaren turned to gaze at him and once again scanned his figure with his eyes.


    This Azure Dragon in front of him maintained its variance, bing a Four-Eyed Azure Dragon, which he appeared to name Four-Eyed Dark Azure Dragon. Apart from the name, his beast form was truly amazing, and the same could be said about his human form. N?v(el)B\\jnn


    King appeared to be a tall man with a regal air. His skin possessed a slightly fairplexion, somewhat brown and fair or light brown. His dark blue-ck hair cascaded down his waist, and his gaze shed with an azure light. His chiseled features, imperious demeanor, and attitude made him look arrogant. His jawline was so sharp that it looked like it could be used for trimming hair.


    Four thin yet sharp horns extended backwards from the frontal lobe of his head. There were faint azure scales and marks almost everywhere on his body, but the prevalent locations were the back of the palm, elbows, knees, chest, and shoulder, as well as the spine.


    These faint runes reverberated with power, giving him nearly eighty percent of the strength of the magical beast form. As an Empyrean Beast, he didn''t need to suppress his power too much when taking human form.


    "If you want battles, we''ll have one."


    "…?"


    King blinked, wondering if Soaren was challenging him.


    "Fenren would most likely be caught in a pincer because of our screw-up. We should go head towards the Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm after leaving my people in the Fifth Void Dust Sanctuary."


    "Would we even make it in time?" King frowned.


    Soaren shook his head, "I don''t know, but if they need help, then we should be there to help them retaliate and break free of any encirclement."


    "We''ll know if they need help as long as we get closer to them." Illumina uttered coolly.


    She had sent her clones with the other two teams as well. Since they were returning to the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Lower Realm, they would know the status of the team led by Andiron as soon as they entered the range of her clone.


    Time passed.


    Hundreds of flying ships and other vessels were in space, searching for them, but they were nearly impossible to catch with Illumina''s illusion arts. They finally reached the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Realm and made a straight beeline towards the Fifth Void Dust Sanctuary, first leaving the Goldsun n with Ste and Mingzhi.


    However, they were heartened to see the ckryst n was also here.


    It seemed Andiron had seeded in retrieving his people. Apparently, they met no resistance. His wives and children were all safe. The entire ckryst n was unharmed. Although they were in exile, they didn''t seem to be in a condition as bad as the Goldsun n.


    However, there was no sign of Andiron and his team.


    Illumina wondered why she hadn''t sensed her clone with Andiron''s team, but it made sense quickly. They had left to back up Fenren and his team. It was a long journey since they had to cross the Verdant Vale Lower Realm first in order to get to the Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm.


    "Hopefully, we aren''t intercepted by the Verdant Vale Realm Master, who is said to be an entric."


    The two teams then shot toward Fenren as they burned resources to unleash the spatial warp mechanisms of their flying ships. The space in front of them continuously shook andunched itself trillions of kilometers again and again after entering and exiting warp.


    Since these ships were at Empyrean Grade, they didn''t need to go to a ce where the spatial conditions were the most optimal. They brute-forced their way through, leaving behind countless spatial undtions, but with so many left, it would be impossible to pick a trail unless they knew their travel route.
