James could sense Space Power and Time Power from the inscription sigil. He could even detect
traces of karma and reincarnation from it.
“Unbelievable…”
James stared at the inscription sigil in admiration. “The creator of this realm must be an outstanding
and remarkable cultivator.”
‘As far as I know, any inscription in its simplest, most primitive form can carry only one form of power.
‘The inscriptions found in this passage, however, seem to contain several forms of power. It is as if
each of them is equipped with the powers of the Greater Paths!
‘The creator of the Path of Heavenly Awakening must have been someone who had achieved
extraordinary cultivation ranks. They might have been someone who was already in thete stage of
Caelum Acme Rank. My guess is that the person may have even achieved the legendary Chaos Rank,’
James thought.
James dispersed the inscription sigil in his palm. Then, he tried to sense the time and space around
him to figure out where he was.
Unfortunately, he could’t seem to detect any of those things. Standing in the passage, James felt as
though he could no longer grasp the flow of time.
Soon, the passage began to disappear. James could also see what seemed like a new world before his
eyes.
“Wee to the first trial of the Path of Heavenly Awakening at the ultimate-level difficulty.”
At that very moment, James heard those words ringing in his ear.
“For the first trial, kill all living beings in this universe. The time limit is thirty thousand years.
Challengers who fail to do so within the time limit will lose their powers and perish.”
The passage waspletely gone by the time the voice had stopped talking.
James looked around and found that he was currently situated at the top of a mountain. He activated
his Divine Sense to check the world that he had arrived in.
James soon realized that he had been transferred into a world that was as big as the Super Universes
that he had seen in his original world. Moreover, he had also detected the powerful aura of quite a
number of cultivators. He could tell that some of them had achieved the Terra Acme Rank.
“I need to kill all living beings in this universe within a time limit of thirty thousand years?! Are you
kidding me?” James shouted at the top of his lungs, “Whose idea was it? Come out here right now! I
need to have a word with you!”
Only the sound of James huffing and puffing could be heard as he waited for a reply.
“Damn it!” James cursed in exasperation.
He conjured the Death-Celestial Sword the next instant.

“I guess I just have to trust myself and do this. I’ll see for myself if this Path of Heavenly Awakening is
as difficult as described in the legends! Well, this realm is mostly likely created by a superior cultivator
to train future generations of cultivators instead of wiping them out. I just need to trust the process.”
James took a deep breath. Then, he teleported to a busy road located just outside a city gate. James
could see countless people going about their business around the city gate.
James could tell that those people were real living beings as each and every one of them hadplete
souls.
He frowned. “This doesn’t seem like an artificial realm. Are all these people real?”
‘Wouldn’t it be really bad karma if I were to kill all the living beings in this universe?’ James pondered.
“It’s probably not real. This world is likely just a replica of one of the worlds or civilizations that existed
in the history of the Greater Realms. The creator must have found a way to recreate such a realistic
replica in this realm.
‘These people are no longer alive in our time. What I’m seeing is just a projection of them while they
were still alive. It wouldn’t really affect them even if I killed these people,” James muttered to himself.
