no means to fight back, the Lords hurriedly fled.

Light of Acme, his body shed, and he hurriedly gave chase. Seeing that James was upon him, Lord
Samsong raised the sword in his hand and shed. A radiant Sword Energy materialized, carrying a
Nine-Power Macrocosm Power that could potentially destroy anything in its path.

the scenery seemed out of an apocalyptic movie.
“Samsong, are you going to seize the Light of Acme for yourself?”
James’ face darkened as he said coldly, “We agreed to work together beforeing here. Yet, here
you are abandoning your teammates to their fate and taking the Light of Acme for yourself!”
“Stall for time, Forty-nine! I will meet up with you once I obtain the Light of Acme. When that happens,
we will leave this ce together and research the Light of Acme. Together, we will reach the Acme
Rank.”
Knowing that James was difficult to deal with, Samsong kept things civilized.
Before James could respond, the beast turned around and spurted out a materialized beam.
Samsong and James swiftly dodged the attack. The former paid no heed to the beast’s attack and
immediately appeared before the Light of Acme. With his immense power, he forcibly stored the Light
of Acme away and turned to leave, leaving James and the others to their fates.
James tried to give chase but was entangled in a fight against the beast. Hence, he had no choice but
toe to blows. He catalyzed Chaos Power and summoned his full strength. Waves of Sword Energy
materialized and struck the beast. However, the beast was unscathed. As the battle progressed, he
was struck by the beast’s attack and suffered injuries. Meanwhile, the other Fifth Stage Lords had
already retreated to the rear. Though the battle onlysted for a short duration, many Lords perished at
the beast’s hand.
“Dammit, he’s strong!”
James was stunned.
As he shed with the Demon-yer Sword, tens of thousands of Sword Energy materialized and
formed a Sword Net that struck the beast. Although the waves of Sword Energy were a direct hit, the
beast remained unscathed.
James knew that his power was far from enough to defeat the beast. At that moment, he thought about
