Chapter 3555

    Chapter 3555

Thea reprimanded him. “If there’s anything you wanted to know, you could have just asked me. There’s

no need to secretly investigate me.”

James immediately jumped at the opportunity. “Then, who’s the person that keeps appearing in your

    dream?”

Thea’s brows furrowed. It was an answer she had always been searching for but never found.

She sighed and said, “I’m not sure either. I’ve never been able to see his actual appearance.”

“Is that so?” James looked at her in disbelief.

Thea warned him. “Stop prying. I won’t let you off the hook so easily if you ever do it again.”

After speaking, she disappeared from his sight.

James touched his chin and muttered, “A Caelum Ancestral God sure is amazing. Mount Heavenly

Path is the Lord of the Universe’s territory. Yet, she cane and go as she pleases.”

James chuckled. He began to study the Heavenly Path out of sheer boredom.

With the Heavenly Path, he could easily learn about the events happening in every corner of the

    universe.

He could also discern those who were good and bad throughout the universe.

Moreover, he could change the fate of weaker beings. As long as he made small adjustments to

Heaven’s Law, their lives would be altered.

However, the Heavenly Path had its own constraints.

Everyone’s fate was not predetermined. Although the Heavenly Path could reveal glimpses into one’s

future, its insight into the future was not absolute.

Even if one was predicted to die at a certain time, there was still a chance for survival.

The Heavenly Path allowed for the slim possibility of an oue to change.

As James learned more about the Heavenly Path, he discovered how crucial his role was in the

    universe.

Just being in charge of the Heavenly Path gave him power over people’s lives and deaths. He began to

wonder how powerful the Lord of the Universe must be.

It was unfathomable how much power Hadad had over the universe.

James casually waved his hand, and the Heaven’s Law before him disappeared.

He sat on a cliff and absent mindedly looked at the towering mountains in the distance.

“As long as you’re willing, you can control the Heavenly Path forever. You’ll sit above countless lives

and be one of the most powerful people in the universe,” spoke a voice from behind him.

James immediately stood up and turned around.

While he was pondering, a man had silently appeared next to him.

The man looked to be in his 40s. Although not very handsome, he had a very elegant aura.

He wore a gray robe and held his hands behind him. James could not sense any energy from him.

Startled, James sped his hands together and addressed him respectfully. “Who might you be, Sir?”

The man replied softly, “I’m Hadad Theophanes.”

James’ expression immediately changed. He quickly showed him more respect. “It’s a pleasure to meet

    you, Lord Hadad.”

Hadad lightly waved his hand and said, “We’re going to be family soon, so there’s no need for

formalities. I’m sure Melinda has already informed you of the fact.”

“What do you mean?” James answered, pretending to be oblivious.

Hadad said, “You’re a prodigy that will be a cornerstone of Mount Heavenly Path in the future. I

have a daughter named Melinda. You’re the only person worthy to marry her throughout the entire

    universe.”

    “Lord Hadad, I…”

    James showed a reluctant expression.

Hadad said, “I’m giving you two choices. You either marry my daughter or die.”

After speaking, Hadad vanished from where he stood.

James frowned and wore a solemn expression.
