    James’ body fell backward for some distance before mming hard into the ground.


    Thump! The impact from his fall was sorge that the earth began to crack. The cracks extended


    continuously. Thankfully, this was in Mount Heavenly Path where the Macrocosm Ancestral God could


    regte any sort of immense power, making sure that no damage is too great for Mount Heavenly


    Path.


    All of a sudden, all of the cracks disappeared as if they were never there before. Dead silence echoed


    across the void, even though millions of living beings were present.


    All of them knew the extent of James’ capability. From the moment he left the Cahan family, he


    defeated the thirtieth figure on the Martial Ranking. His rank and power have ascended ever since, yet


    he was so easily defeated by the second runner-up on the Ranking. This just goes to show how big is


    the difference in capacity between number third and number thirtieth of the ranking.


    Back at Herschel Pce of Mount Heavenly Path, Herschel could not suppress his giggle. He took a


    look at Thea, and asked, “Being an intelligent woman such as yourself and someone at the top ten


    powerful figures in the universe, I’m sure you’re able to see how strong Gutierre is. Would you be


    willing to suppress your rank at the Ninth Heaven Grand Emperor Rank to fight against Gutierre?”


    Thea shook her head slightly. While she was indeed a rare gem herself, she would not be able to beat


    Gutierre if she suppressed her rank.

    James. Thea looked at Sienna, who had a worried expression on her face as well. At this very moment,

    waves, recovering all of his inner injuries. He mobilized his joints and a smile appeared on his face.


    “How strong, how very strong,” he said as he looked at Gutierre, “Among all of the opponents I’ve met


    thus far, you’re probably the most frightening one.”


    Gutierre disyed his appalling power, but this only triggered James’ desire for more battle.


    “Come,” James roared.


    “As you wish,” Gutierre answered coldly.


    All of a sudden, he appeared in front of James at a speed so rapid that James, who was standing in the


    Space Path, could not sense Gutierre’s tracks. Gripping his fists, Gutierre then gave James a blow in


    the chest. This strike encapsted immense energy, so much so that the impact caused his chest to


    sink.


    Gutierre did not give James an opportunity to catch his breath. He continuously hit James hundreds


    and thousands of times. Each strike was faster than the one before, and James had absolutely no time


    to react. Those strikes caused him thousands and hundreds of inner injuries.


    Finally, Gutierre appeared on top of James’ head. With a wave of the hand, all Paths’ power gathered


    together, forming a blue power ball, descending head-on onto James. James’ body fell from the sky


    upon impact.


    Thump! A bottomless pit appeared on the ground, spurring up a sky full of dust.
