    A streak of blue light cut through the sky,nding beside James. The blue light materialized slowly into


    a man with a blue robe. The man looked young, around twenty years or so. He had sharp features and


    was rather handsome and gentleman-looking. His smile was so warm it made those who set eyes on


    him feel cozy.


    “Who is this man?”


    The man in the blue robe’s appearance confused many living beings behind James. Their sole purpose


    in following James in the first ce was to see for themselves the powerful figures who were about to


    partake in the Martial Ranking. However, this man in the blue robe was not one of those figures they


    were looking forward to meeting.


    James stopped to look at the man. With a casual and rxed face, he asked, “You are…?”


    The man replied with a chuckle, “Gutierre Linford.”


    “Gutierre Linford?” The sound of his name startled the living beings behind James.

    stood up once he saw Gutierre. He could not conceal his smile as he said, “James has finally arrived at


    Mount Heavenly Path.”


    As he spoke, he took a nce at Thea Cahan who was in the hall, and said, “I will arrange for


    Gutierre’s first battle to be against James as a demonstration of my respect towards him. Is this


    alright?”


    Thea had a gloomy look on her face. She knew that Gutierre was a genius who was born a thousand

    James. If James was not Gutierre’s opponent and perished at his hands, she would not marry Gutierre


    either. She would rather die with James.


    Two stunning women were located in another area of Mount Heavenly Path. They were Melinda and


    Winnie.


    “Winnie, who do you think will prevail in this fight? Or should I say, how many strikes can James


    withstand?” Melinda asked smilingly.


    Winnie looked anxious. She never expected that James would show up at Mount Heavenly Path. So,


    she decided to say nothing.


    Melinda took no heed of this and continued, “James is still rather frightening though. Thest time I met
