    The more James looked at Xainte, the more he saw her resemnce to Thea and Winnie.


    “Haah!” James took a deep breath to calm himself.


    He did not dare act recklessly, knowing he might get beaten up if he were to tell her that he was her


    father.


    James asked tentatively, “Have youe to see Thea?” Stunned, Xainte took a few steps backward


    and stared at James warily.


    Did this man know her identity? Why does he know the Malevolent Demon’s real name? No one knew


    the Malevolent Demon’s name, so how could a human at the Sage Rank’s Tenth Stage possess


    knowledge about it? When he saw Xainte’s reaction, James knew that Xainte was familiar with Thea.


    “If I told you I know Thea, would you believe me?” James asked gently.


    Xainte calmed down and looked at James, asking, “Who’s Thea?” James touched his nose and said,


    “That’s the Malevolent Demon in the rumors.


    Aren’t you her daughter? I knew you were her daughter the moment I saw you.


    You resemble her a lot.” Xainte scoffed.

    No one knows what she looks like, not even me.

    what she looks like?” Although Xainte did not know James, her desire to kill him grew as she listened to


    him expose her secrets.


    She clenched her fists.


    There was no way she could let anyone know about her past.


    It would put her in danger if word got out.


    James sensed Xainte’s hostility and knew she wanted to kill him.


    He quickly exined in a panic, “Me and Thea, the Malevolent Demon, are old acquaintances.


    We’ve known each other for a long time.


    It’s a long story, so calm down.


    I’ll slowly exin it to you.” Xainte red at James, silently calcting her next move.


    She wanted to hear what James had to say.


    After thinking for a while, James said, “I’ll have to start exining from when I used to be on another


    world called the Earth…” James began to reveal his past and told Xainte everything about Earth.


    He started from the Cadens’ mansion being set on fire and Thea rescuing him from the inferno which


    left her face disfigured.


    “Thea saved my life, but her face was disfigured because of her bravery.


    After I served ten years in the army, I looked for her and married into her family.


    She’s actually my wife.” James recounted the events wistfully.


    Xainte listened silently while staring at James.


    James continued to speak about his rtionship and experiences with Thea.


    He even told her about the Earth undergoing dramatic changes after recovering its Spiritual Energy.


    He went on to mention about the Earth’s Four Cmities.


    “The humans of Earth will have to face Four Cmities.


    With the help of the Human Realm’s Lord, Thea and I came to the Boundless Realm.”
