After helping James out once more, a Scythe of Judgment appeared before Sophie. Faced against a
Scythe of Judgment, even a Grand Emperor would be annihted. However, in the nick of time, Winnie
appeared.
Sensing that Sophie was in danger, Winnie materialized the Scythe of Judgment inside her body and

James had not been here for many years. When hest came here with Winnie, she was still a young
girl.
Now that he met her once more, her appearance resembled that of Thea’s. At that moment, he mistook
her for Thea and called out to her, “Thea.”
Hearing this, Winnie turned her head.
“Dad!”
When she saw James, she excitedly rushed toward him and leaped into his embrace.
James collected himself and said smiling, “You’re all grown up, Winnie. I almost couldn’t recognize
you.”

an adult now. I’m close to bing a middle-aged woman.”
James chuckled and said, “Not at all. This is the era of cultivation. We can’t measure human lifespan

Then, he changed the subject and asked, “By the way, where’s Sophie?”
“Aunt Sophie?” Winnie said, “She just entered a closed-door meditation.”
“What happened?” James asked, confused.
Winnie said, “I don’t know either. Just a moment ago, I saw Aunt Sophie lying on the ground covered in
blood. There was a bizarrely-shaped scythe in front of her. It looked exactly like mine, just with different
colors. I immediately summoned my scythe and blocked the other scythe’s attack. Then, the scythe
attacking Aunt Sophie vanished.”
