Chapter 2457

    Chapter 2457

    James carefully scrutinized Henrik’s face.

Although James did not recognize Henrik, the other man knew him.

Henrik imed that someone told him who James was.

    Who exactly was this informant?

It was the first time he visited the Demon Realm. There was only one person on Earth who knew he

went to the Demon Realm, and that was the Chamber of Scriptures’ custodian.

James did not suspect the Chamber of Scriptures’ custodian as the source that shared his information

and his arrival in the Demon Realm..

He had no contacts in the Demon Realm.

Technically he knew Marcello and Jace, but they were still on Earth. Therefore, they could not have

known he hade to the Demon Realm.

James was slightly wary of Henrik.

On the contrary, Henrik walked up to him and hooked his arm around James’ shoulder. With a friendly

smile, he said, “You don’t have to be so cautious, Mr. Caden. I mean you no harm and simply want us

    to be friends.”

His intimate behavior made it seem like he had been a long-time friend of James.

James looked at the creatures around him.

It seemed they were terrified of Henrik. He must be someone highly distinguished in the Demon

    Realm’s

    Mortal Dimension.

“Who’s this man, Ms. Sophie?” James asked Sophie, who was watching from the Celestial Abode.

Sophie’s voice chimed out from the Celestial Abode. “How would I know?”

James did not press her further since she did not seem to have any answers.

Henrik continued to hook his arm around James’ shoulder and led him directly toward the mountain.

Yalerad’s cave mansion was located on the mountain. It was called the Triple Star Cave Mansion.

In the Mortal Dimension, Yalerad held an incredibly high status. He was the person closest to attaining

the Sage rank. He was practically invincible when other Sages were not present in the Mortal

    Dimension.

The guards did not dare to stand in Henrik’s path when he showed up. Everyone deliberately backed

away and slightly bowed to him as if they were weing a distinguished guest

“The others seem very afraid of you,” James said pensively.

    “Of course”

Henrik smirked and said, “They’re in my presence after all. I’m capable of causing havoc in all three

dimensions Everyone shows respect to me regardless of whichever dimension I’m in.”

Henrik began to brag about himself

“I’m not trying to toot my own horn, James, but even the Sage Dimension’s Lord will bow in my

    presence

“I’m sure you know about the Demon Realm’s greatest dimension, the Divine Dimension, right? Even

    the

Demon Race’s powerhouses in the Divine Realm must respectfully address me as Sir Henrik.”

James had a look of disbelief on his face.

“Is this chubby man really that influential?

‘If he really is that prestigious, then what reason would he have to befriend me? It doesn’t seem

    reasonable at all, thought James.

“Why did youe to me? Also, how did you know I was here?” James boldly voiced his thoughts.

“I wanted to embark on a great adventure with you. Together, we’ll have a fruitful journey and leave

behind a legendary story.” Henrik chuckled.

    James was rendered speechless.

What the hell is he talking about?”

He stopped pursuing the topic since Henrik was unwilling to borate further.

    “Sir Henrik.”

    “You’re here, Sir Henrik.”

Along the way, many of Triple Star Cave Mansion’s guards and servants greeted Henrik respectfully.

James was surprised by their reaction and was curious whether the chubby man really had such great

    authority.
