the rock. The rock had a few small holes in it. White energies were emitted from the small holes. The
energies shot into the clouds, forming a light beam.
He walked over and sat in a lotus position on the rock without hesitation.
As soon as he sat down, energy began to enter his body through all of his pores. He sensed a flood of
energy flowing into him.
Without hesitation, he invoked Novenary Golden Body Siddhi and began to absorb the energy.
transforming it into his own True Energy.
His rank had reached the Immortal Ascension Fifth Stair. As his rank advanced, more and more energy
would be required to raise his rank again.
James began another cycle of cultivation. His True Energy was growing by the second.
After cultivating for a few days, he finally remembered Henry, Diney, and the Blithe King who were in
the Celestial Abode. He opened the Celestial Abode immediately and let the three out.
He gave them a brief introduction to the Dragon Abyss before letting them choose a rock to sit on and
cultivate.
When James was cultivating, Lucifer had already descended far beneath the earth.
A cavern was located deep underground. He had arrived at the Dragon Vein’s fountainhead. In front of
him appeared an Energy Pool that constantly spewed out colorful rays of light. These rays of light were
all pure Dragon Energy.
Lucifer looked at the Dragon Vein’s fountainhead with a serene expression. James was here, so he was
not in a rush. If he transferred the Dragon Vein into his body right now, James would havee here for
nothing.
Fate brought James and him together.
First, James‘ body was reconstructed using his father’s Natal Primordial Spirit Demonic Lotus.
Second, James had saved and resurrected him.
He did not want James to go back empty–handed.
“Young man, you have a lot of nerve to think about transnting the Dragon Vein into your body.”

While Lucifer was staring at the fountainhead of the Dragon Vein, a faintly discernible voice rang out.
Following that, a sh of white light appeared, and an elder manifested in front of Lucifer.
He looked at Lucifer and said, “Do you understand the significance of the Dragon Vein at this location?
This ce, this Dragon Vein, is the source of Spiritual Energy in the Ancient Realm. If you take it away,
the Ancient Realm’s Spiritual Energy will soon run out. This realm will be a wastnd.”
Lucifer nced at him and said nonchntly, “What’s it got to do with me? All I want is the Dragon Vein.
Don’t stop me, old man, or your long life wille to an end.”
He was aware that the elder standing in front of him was a powerhouse of the Dragon Race who was
hiding there.
Lucifer was not at all afraid, though. Even though he was weak, he was the son of the Demon Emperor.
He had many tricks up his sleeve. It would not be difficult for him to kill this old man.
“Think twice, young man.” The elder’s aged face had a tinge of resignation. He appeared to be aware of
Lucifer’s origins as he gently persuaded him.
Lucifer said casually, “I know what I’m doing. Even if I take the Dragon Vein and the Ancient Realm
enervates, before the day itpletely withers, Earth’s seal will have opened, and the Ancient Realm will
merge with Earth. The Earth will regain its Primordial Energy. To Earth, this one Dragon Vein is
insignificant.”
The elder heaved a soft sigh. He knew he could not stop Lucifer.
“Since you’re adamant about doing so, I have nothing else to say.”
In a sh, the elder vanished from where he stood.
The next instant, he was already outside and on the summit. He looked at the people who were sitting in
the lotus position in the light beams. He did not disturb them. He simply watched from a close distance.
James and the others werepletely unaware that someone was watching them.
