On the mountain, the campfires were still burning.
Two naked figures were lying on the ground.
The man was on the bottom while the woman was lying on top of him. Both had no clothes on, and

The two stayed in the same pose for three hours.
After three hours, Maxine realized she could move and quickly jumped off James. Then, she picked up
her clothes and covered her body.
Her clothes were ripped and could not be worn anymore. She could only use the scraps to cover
herself slightly for the time being.
James got up and wanted to put his clothes on. However, he found that his clothes were shredded to
pieces. On top of that, he had severe injuries, and his treatment had been dyed treatment for three

Maxine did not dare look at James.

Maxine shook her head. With a choked-up voice, she said, “It’s not your fault. Mr. Gabriel intended to
frame me. He wanted to destroy the rtionship between the Cadens and the Blithes. Ah... What do I
do? What am I going to do when I return to the Capital? Grandpa is going to beat me to death!” Maxine
cried.
She looked like a little girl who had been wronged. James frowned. He thought for a moment and said,
“I’ll exin things to Tobias.”
“It''s useless. Even if grandpa believed us, the Blithes would never. Madelyn would surely leak the
photos she took.” Maxine shook her head vigorously.
James said, “We’re innocent. We were framed. There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
