    The thousand–strong ck Dragon army chanted. Their voices drowned out Thea‘s wails. Tens of


    thousands gathered outside the hotel. Seeing James, who was in military uniform with a five–star


    badge on his shoulder, tears flowed down their cheeks.


    “This is our God of War.”


    “This is our guardian.” Now that his country required his service, he did not shirk his responsibilities.


    James got around Thea and stood before the ck Dragon army. He raised his hand. The chanting


    stopped.


    “Rise.”
