“Kristen… I’m happy.” Dad made a few choking noises.
“Dad!” I screamed as his eyes rolled in the back of his head. “I love you.” For the first time, in I’m not
sure how long, I full on cried. I didn’t even try to stop it as I cried for my dad. He might have wanted
this. Wanted to be free but that didn’t make it less painful. He didn’t even make it five minutes after
