    Getting out, I put lotion on and put on Alec’s shirt. He didn’t give me panties so I guess I was sleep like


    this. After brushing my hair and my teeth, I walked out.

    “Take those.” He pointed to two white pills on the night stand.

    “Tylenol.”


    “What are you reading?” I asked as I took the pills and crawled in beside him.

    “Read it a few years ago. Not my favorite of his but still good.”

    “I’ve been busy.” I said as we went down the stairs. Alec wasn’t wearing his sling but still kept the
